Terrible team selections, worse substitutions, couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery. Gave up our European chance to 'consolidate' in the premier league. All he's done is consolidate us as dead certs for relegation. All after around £80/£90m investment in his time here. Not good enough, Bruce out!
Yes. I've been saying for two-years that he has no plan 'B'. His plan 'A' worked wonders for us and he's a legend, but his A-game has been found out and he has nothing left to offer us. He needs replacing.
I don't think we will go down, but do we want to finish 15th-17th every season? The lad doesn't have what it takes to push us on from here, tactically inept!! Time to move on and thank him for what he's done!!
Yer what's he playing at signing all these players. Waste of money they can't play as a team at all. Hardly any possession every game ****ing clueless.
So obvious the OP is hoping for knee-jerk reaction by posting at half-time in a game we were always going to lose.
The most embarassing thread ever. FFS. He's got the tactics completely wrong today but he's still got 45 minutes to change it. He's been nothing short of fantastic for this club. Best manager we've ever had by a mile.
If we are in the bottom three by Christmas and we don't look like improving, then I have to say "yes" to him being replaced. He's a terrific manager and he's a Hull City legend in my eyes for the things he's achieved; however, it seems he has an 'expiration date' at the clubs he's managed. I don't want him to leave, but what are the alternatives if we're in the thick of a relegation battle without signs of improving? At least Newcastle gradually looked better and better under Pardew's rut when they played. We look worse and worse without signs of recovering.
I agree he is the best manager we hade to date, should that cloud the fact he's out of his depth and reached his limit with us though? His tactics are wrong more than they're right!! He hasn't got a clue how to be anything other than a bottom end of the table manager!!
It's the players. None of them have been anywhere near the form we saw last Season. I'll agree that this Season, tactically he's been questionable and player selection has been pretty disappointing but the players have to perform. We've brought in a host of new players over the Summer, we've got Allam's stupid off-field fiasco and we've seen a dip in form. No need to panic, we'll be fine.
How often does he change it? Today is the first time I can remember him ever making an unforced change before the 60th minute.
