The first four episodes of the new series is now available on Showbox.

    Standards have not dropped.

I'm willing to wait and watch it unfold in HD. Love this programme and the books.

Yeah I can't wait for the next book to come out (hope he doesn't croke before the last book is written lol!)

My missus couldn't wait, so we watched all 4 episodes in like 2 days, but I may rewatch episodes 2,3 and 4 to keep myself fresh for episode 5. Looks good, and they've changes some of the story strands dramatically from the book, which will keep me guessing...

Yep, they have Jamie and Bron heading to Dorne. Makes sense, two great characters who don't have a helluva lot to do in the later books, may as well use them.

Yeah it's definitely good having Bron playing a bigger part - not only is he a good character, but I like the actor as well. But it has destroyed the Arys Oakheart & Arianne. But I'm not sure if Arianne and all the Sand Snakes will all be in the TV Show...

Yeah but im not sure if all 3 have been mentioned individually or if they'll give Arianna's part to one of the sand snakes - or merge the 3 into 2.

I dont know im just hypothesing

Looks like Arianne's role will be played by Elaria Sand.

Love Bronn! Though it wasnt until halfway through season 2 that I realised that Bronn is Jerome Flynn, from Soldier, Soldier and the pop duo Robson and Jerome!!! <doh>

There's a fair bit of that in GoT.

Illyn Payne the mute executioner in seasons 1 and 2 was played by Wilko Johnson. And the band playing at the Red Wedding was Sigur Ros.

I know, but he just looks so different now with the long dark hair and beard compared to 90's Jerome all clean shaven with blond tufty hair!
