    SPFL2 (Championship) 25/04/2015 : Rangers 2-2 Falkirk

Rangers got out of gaol with a last minute goal by Nicky Law, although we had chances saved by both the woodwork and Falkirk's goalkeeeper. Fair play to Falkirk though, they played well and took their chances well too.
Overall it was a below par performance from Rangers today, too much aerial and long ball play, but with one stand out moment, not the goals scored, but a point blank save by Cammy Bell in the first half.
With Hibernian winning today Rangers drop to third and are behind on points and goal difference too.
Queen of the South won today and have secured the fourth play-off spot.

Match Report : Rangers FC - Rangers 2-2 Falkirk

    Attendance : 35,566 (SSN)

Manager's verdict : Rangers FC - I’m Proud We Kept Going

    SPFL2 (Championship) results 25/04/2015 :

    Cowdenbeath 1-2 Heart of Midlothian
    Hibernian 4-1 Alloa Athletic
Queen of the South 2-1 Dumbarton
    Raith Rovers 0-4 Livingston
    Rangers 2-2 Falkirk

    SPFL2 (Championship) 02/05/2015 : Heart of Midlothian 2-2 Rangers

This match summed up the Season for Rangers, who could and should have done much better, but have thrown advantageous positions away far too many times. Fair play to Heart of Midlothian, who stuck to their task and retrieved a point and congratulations to them too, for winning the SPFL2 title so comprehensively.
With Hibernian winning at Falkirk, Rangers have finished third in SPFL2 and will face Queen of the South, Away then Home, in the first round play-offs.

Yes, Villa got the result, deservedly so.

For me this Season it is a tale of two teams, Aston Villa and Rangers, both of whom who have underperformed due to poor management, but have shown their true abilities under good, effective management.

I offer my congratulations to Celtic FC for retaining the SPFL1 title. Despite Celtic's size and the consequent advantage this gives, the team still has to beat the opposition on the pitch.

Whether Rangers will be in SPFL1 next Season depends on how we fare in the Play-Offs, of course.

These are the first round matches, from the SPFL website. Rangers' games will be on BT Sport.
