I must admit I did a double-take when I saw the thread title - I'd come on here to tell you that you wouldn't get many replies! :D

Not only is it on, but the wife has worked out how to fire up the surround sound. It's like I'm there.

I've just found out it's on for another hour and a half so I'm going to watch a film instead. I'm going to take this opportunity to warn you off Black Mass. Johnny Depp. Awful.

I absolutely love X Factor. It's the best TV programme around.

    Said nobody ever!

    Two hours of pure drivel.

Virtually unviewable (even for X Factor). Totally cringeworthy watching grown people pleading to Simon Cowell. And after the 6 chair challenge before it, becomes more like The Hunger Games every week. Next thing, they will all be stood over trap doors... now theres a good idea!

I thought he was going to be launching some plan to blow them up, so I clicked on it to offer support. I think that makes my behaviour less ****ish and more visionary.

Well you're in the minority there. It's had critical acclaim since it came out, particularly Depp's performance.

I thought it was great. Depp is great in it too.

Just thought it was slow and predictable. Some of the dialogue was almost hammy. It could just be me, there's a few films that gain critical acclaim that I don't get. Lost in Translation is always my prime example.

I don't remember starting this thread.

It was probably predictable because it was based on real events...

Going to have to disagree again, Lost in Translation is superb.

You say that. My mum went to see Titanic when it came out. Someone in the queue at the ticket office complained about her ruining the ending by saying she'd heard the special effects when it sinks were meant to be really good.
