Monk Sacked!!!! Official, SSN he's gone! http://www.skysports.com/football/news/12040/10094275/swansea-sack-manager-garry-monk
Gutted for him but relived for the Club , ,he'll certainly never be forgotten and has divided opinion but thanks for your efforts and all the best for the future
All the best with you're future Garry and thanks for a historic season last year. That being said , " Let the Bells Ring and the Banners fly " Hopefully an experienced person is brought in ....Moyes or Rodgers for me , in that order for preference .
Ye, gutted but obviously it had to be done for the good of the club. Thanks for all that you've done monk!!! Good luck for the future!
Whilst I was in the majority that wanted a change of manager I thank him for his time and efforts at the club. I don't care what any one else thinks he was an excellent player and captain for us on the pitch.
Thought his contribution as a player the first season we came up was underestimated , always ready to slot in and had to during some big games . If not for his late goal there might not be a League Cup 2nd season up or European adventures to follow.
This reminds me of that sketch on Not The Nine O'Clock News where two politicians are slagging each other off, one of them has a heart attack and dies so the first one switches to..."....he will be sorely missed". Thanks for your services Gary but you had to go and you'll now be a millionaire overnight. I wish I'd have had that reward if I'd failed at my job. Sorry, very little sympathy here. Now the big question. Who's coming in?
Now that he's gone I'm feeling a bit bad , he never really had full control on proceedings did he . I want someone brought in that Jenkins can't steer around .
Who ever comes in, I hope he cracks a big whip on our lazy 'Prima donna's'................ Look out for all the show boating at training........
Thank you Garry. I feel very saddened today you have been a great servant to the club, however it is clear after Saturday that all was not well behind the scenes. I am sure that it will not be very long before your telephone is ringing with offers. My only wish is for truth behind this episode be made public. As for Swansea now, well we should be careful what we wish for.
