We've amassed more yellow cards today than corners and shots on target combined <yikes> <doh>

I can't understand just how awful a team we have become. I really don't want to watch any more games this season. Our play is so boring, predictable, and absolutely no quality anywhere. Can't hit a barn door, can't pass to a yellow shirt, have no ideas or invention when around the opposition half. This team is making me miserable.

A draw today would have been a pretty poor result, 1 point is just not enough.

Southampton have leveled, but it really dosnt matter. Big Sam will save them.

We're ****ed but then again I've known that for a while. Getting relegated with a whimper, no fight, no balls, pathetic. The buck stops with the manager it's now NINE, count 'em, NINE defeats in ten and we all know it will be TEN next week when we play Citeh. No other manager in any division would still have a job tonight with a record like that.

FFS McNALLY SACK HIM NOW ! <grr>

I though Bamford showed better touch, vision and close control in his 26 minute cameo than Jerome has in about 5 matches put together. And he was well placed to score when Mmmbop headed high over the bar rather than looking for a knock down.
So what does he have to do to get a full game? <grr>
If he's not up to it Jerome and Mbokani would be on the bench as options?
I mean, it's not as if CJ and DM haven't been given ample chances to deliver - and broadly speaking, they've both failed to deliver :emoticon-0106-cryin

I was following the game on live commentary and he certainly seemed to be at least getting shots on target.
Luckily, Saints equalised at the death and Toon were well beaten. Let's hope we can get revenge when they come to CR. Mind you, they'll probably have 'new manager bounce' by then!!!

i think we will survive as long as the number of points needed to stay up is no more than 26.

Well we gave you a chance by bringing the useless Go-miss on, but you never took it, scrappy old game with some poor refereeing in parts, thought we had a penalty shout also, but not complaining, all the best for the run in, it's looking bleak with the games you have coming up.............<cheers>

All the talk about getting it right, working hard, getting a result.....all bollocks, we are awful under this manager, he's had enough time to sort it out, but it's the same week in week out. It's now become emberrasing to watch clueless players and management. Aguero, will have a field day against us next week!

I thought Jerome played well today without much support from Wes and Naismith. He curled an excellent shot on target that forced a diving save from Fabianski and had anyone been coming in from the right to pick up the parry it could have been a goal with the keeper on the ground. I do agree that Bamford looked sharp and creative, though. I'd like to see him start against ManCity playing off Jerome and instead of Naismith, who never really got into the game today except for just missing a header from a free-kick which could have produced a goal. Business as usual isn't going to do it against Citeh, and Bamford might just produce the unexpected.

He'd unquestionably be better in a 4-4-2 but as we know, that's passé - unless you're Claudio Ranieri.
His speed of thought and movement meant he often got into great positions but with no one on the same wavelength, he had nowhere to go, nobody to set up or pass to.
A tricky customer, worth persevering with, I'd say <ok>

Yes, I love this idea, plus it might add a new dimension to Jerome's play by not simply running channels and holding up the play, but it's pretty nailed on that it won't happen, because Naismith was an AN signing and he will want to justify the outlay and vindicate the decision to pursue him so vigorously.
I hope sincerely that I'm wrong but I have this gut feel, sadly :(
