I've been proven right about Naismith, proven right about AN too. Delilah, **** Jones and McTwat couldn't run a tap let alone a football club. I called for Nigel Pearson to be given the managers job weeks ago and I stick by that. He got Leicester out of the mire last year and I reckon he could have done the same for us. Our manager is COMPLETELY out of his depth and ****ing clueless.
I watched the game on a well known website and watched Naismith for his effort. Very little shown, he seemed resigned to defeat and at £8m seems a total waste of money. I cannot for the life of me see why CJ is regularly chosen to start as he has scored 3 goals all season. At this late stage of the season, with relegation a distinct possibility, AN should be giving other strikers a chance from the start of a game - they cannot do any worse. The fact that Bamford did come on eventually may be a pointer to the way AN will be going in future. AN has admitted that he keeps staying the same thing to the players and nothing changes. Is it too late to bring another manager in? If it's not then who is available?
Neither he or Redmond are any good at tracking back, leaving the fullbacks hopelessly exposed time after time. At least with Brady wide left, whoever plays at LB behind him gets some support and help when we lose (often) possession. This sort of **** should be sorted WELL before 29 games have elapsed
Andre Gray scored for Burnley again today - I wish we'd have bid for him in January. Time to start Bamford I think.
There have been several comments to that effect already tonight, OCF. He'll either be out of his depth or a revelation, but we'll never find out with 20 minute "cameos" As mentioned earlier on here, I thought he looked sharp and up for it today - something that can't be leveled at many in the yellow shirt. Klose and Bamford stood out from a fairly mundane, average crowd
Well, time to get rid of this sour taste in my mouth. My local has some Fat Cat Honey ale on as a guest and hopefully things will take on a 'sweeter' hue after a couple of those
Well, I hope I'm in time to do the match Day Thread next week - I've had 2 home wins and acquitted ourselves well!!!! Could we really .........????
NCFC in the league in 2016: W,L,L,L,L,L,D,L,L Pretty tragic and surefire relegation, however you try and dress it up and whoever the opposition
I have officially had enough of this season. If CJ starts the next game as a lone striker I think I will scream (not that we have anything better). I am not sure where the blame really is. Did AN really try to get better strikers in the summer or January? If he did and got blanked then he is off the hook to an extent in my eyes but I am troubled with everything that is going on since the turn of the year (or not). My confidence in AN is beginning to deteriorate I am sorry to say.
God no, he only got them playing after half a season. He might do well, but it's just as much of a lottery as anyone else - our players aren't good enough and you can't blame Neil entirely for that. I also don't know why you insist on blaming McNally. He's pretty much the only reason our club isn't mired in League One or worse. Delia and co., fine, but McNally has done his job and given us more PL football in six years than the previous twenty.
Where are the midfield goals coming from? Everyone of them seems to be afraid to shoot. 14 goals last season from Bradley, do we miss him or what?
Errrrrrrr, not Honey beer, blimey you must be desperate! . I'm off for some Abbot Reserve.............and quite a lot of it as well!
Enjoy Cromer and ILD, but has to be yuk to both. One of my favourites has to be Adnams Ghost Ship for me (or Mosaic when I can get it) , but my outright favourite is Citra from the Oakham Brewery!!! http://www.oakhamales.com/citra.html Scarlet Macaw, also from Oakham is so popular, it just flies out the door!!! <getscoatemoticon>
He came here as a no one and will leave the same. Who's he going to attract? I'm sure this was in Sunderlands thoughts when they brought Aladice in? But he doesn't work for peanuts and that's all we'll ever attract, monkeys.
