Tell you what, I had my doubts about him but Mig and Westie can only dream of commanding the box like Mannone did today. He was immense. We all know he's prone to silly mistakes and is a dreaded confidence keeper (wince) But how safe did he make us feel today? Clearing the lines, distribution, arial effectiveness the bloke was simply in complete control. He's one ugly ****a but hats off to the fella.
Quality keeper, and as the applause at our place showed we still think so. You've got a good one there. Palace, Stoke and Fulham for the drop?
Wes Brown was like a 10 mill signing today, when he's fit he is the difference. I agree about Mannone, as ugly as a bolognese thats gone wrong but did his bit in a great great win..
http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/236233-Looking-through-the-debris-of-Saturday Today he was always there for a back pass, cleared his lines and came right out of the box for a header. The defence never had to think twice about where he was or if he was going to come out for crosses. Defence did well but it all starts from the back.
I liked him when he was at City. Would've liked him back last season when we had all our problems with our keepers. Seems like a decent bloke as well.
