    Well that went well. Thank Karius for keeping us in the tie.

    Klopp needs to stop shoe horning some players. Moving Lallana upfront to accommodate Can needs to end with this game. He cannot afford to play this way against United as they have better players to hurt us

    Safe to say we're having our blip, that was ****ing dogshit and we haven't been good enough to deserve victories in a good few weeks.

    Need to snap out of it cos Utd will beat us 1-0 aswell with that type of turn out then the pressure is well and truly on.

    True - 10 mins after his introduction, he completed 3 dribbles. Only Firmino had completed more at the point.

    Feel Southampton will regret not scoring a second. Liverpool only need one goal to be in the tie again despite that ****e tonight.

    Karius MOTM. Good saves and distributed well.

    Desperately flat in midfield. Can was awful, Wijnaldum too conservative, Lucas his usual self. No creativity and noone to set the tempo.

    Took until Coutinho came on for Lallana and Sturridge to get the ball in forward positions and even then it was poor.

    Clyne was awful tonight at both ends. Really slowed play up when he got it.

    Firmino barely had the ball in threatening areas... but had our two best (only?) chances and at least tried to press.

    Shows we're desperate for pace without Mane and still have no genuine ability in midfield. We played three "hard workers" there tonight.

    Defensively, that was a shambolic performance. Can and Gini offered nothing, Lucas was a doorman to the back 4. And the entire back line made mistakes. Clyne and Milner must be knackered so I can understand their tired performances.

    jeez that was depressing
    The word to sum up that performance - ponderous
    We suddenly seem slow ,we could cope withot 1 of Couts or Mane not both plus there is a worry that the team as a whole looks fatigued with little behind the first team squad of 15/ 16.
    Defence is still as bad as ever without protection.
