A crafty move by the CEO to first raise the subject at a forum where she knew she'd get some backing. If her motives were genuine she'd have discussed it in private with the organisers. And of course Old Reamsy is an easy person to use in a situation like this.
Exactly - more examples of the club not learning from their mistakes. Let those who want to handle POTY continue, KM sort out the **** that we are in.
If Miere is taking over planning I feel a CARD boycott? Let them know we don't want to meet their crappy underperforming players.
My understanding is that the club is prepared to allow the PotY to go ahead in its usual format on April 23rd on condition that Fanny is not (seen to be) involved in the organisation. This is purely personal spite on the part of Meire as far as I can see, and ties up entirely with her foot-stamping performance in 2015 over my five minutes on the Valley Party 25th anniversary. This would mean Fanny can (and will probably have to) do the work but must have no recognition on instructions from Meire. How petty is that? @baraettmattesvensson will not be happy when he see this!
It's all so lame. She befriends an ape who's called her every name under the sun, but the same rule doesn't apply to the other? ooooh I feel WAR sharpening their claws.
Well done Barca, the 2nd side in Europe to overcome a 4-goal deficit. The first was Kilmarnock FC against Eintracht Frankfurt in 1964 if I remember rightly. The German side won the first leg 3-0, then scored a 30-yard screamer in the 3rd minute of the return leg at Rugby Park. Undaunted Killie came back with 5 goals of their own to go through 5-4 on aggregate. Eintracht were a strong side, having 2 years previously lost 7-3 to Real Madrid in the European Cup Final at Hampden, in a game described by many as the greatest football match ever played. Congratulations to Barca for equalling Killie's achievement.
CAST was informed by e mail by Tom Rubashow yesterday that their planned Q&A with Meire is postponed.
Was Charlton's 1957 comeback against Huddersfield Town better than Barcelona's against PSG? http://www.examiner.co.uk/sport/foo...t-huddersfield-12714637#ICID=sharebar_twitter
Jezus!! Shaun Newton being hunted by Police over burglary charges? He was a Club hero and England U21 player when he was with us! Somebody needs to look at how players are/were getting financial advice.
