Mignolet - 7 cool under pressure and put off Suarez I thought for that penalty.
Richardson - 5 Made one important tackle in the 2nd half but that ain't enough.
Ferdinand - 7 Defended well throughout.
Brown - 8 Cool calm collected. Showed his class.
Bardsley - 7 continued last seasons solid form.
Elmohammady - 5 great cross for goal but not much else.
Catts - 7 Full of action. Card was harsh but kept his head.
Colback - 7 based on 2nd half performance great range of passing.
Larson - 7 spectacular goal and decent balls into the box.
Gyan - 5 was he playing??
Sess - 7 a bit of a Malbranque performance, great on the ball but shooting was poor.
Dong - 7 was not fazed one bit. really looking forward to seeing more of this lad.

So what do you guys think?

Agree on everyone apart from Catts who I thought was a 9, he was much better than Colback, would give Seb an 8 for the goal too.

Agree with most of scores but
Still think Catts is average at best, not a passer and defo can't shoot 6 at best
Brown 8.5-9 think he'll be fantastic if he keeps fit
front 2 were awful today but service wasn't great either
Korean boy looked good for 1st appearance and think he'll come on strong

Sess was creative and ran all day and Gyan was always a danger to the extent that Liverpool didn't dare bring more players forward. We passed the ball sideways a lot in the middle of the park and seemed a bit clueless at times as to how to work the ball into the final 3rd

Gyan looked uninterested again yesterday and Catts looked like he was at the start of last season, booked too easily at least he stayed on the pitch which is a step in the right direction.
The scores were about fair apart from Richardson who deserved about a 4 tops albeit played out of position not his fault i know but Bruce should at least see it now here's hoping eh?

Brown was MOM for me mate which pains me to say as I thought he would be a liability for us suppose you can't be right all the time.

I think that you are a little bit harsh about Gyan. He was the one that beat two Liverpool players on the goal line passed it to Elmo who crossed for Seb to score
