Andy C off to Dipperpoll for ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã35M* What a joke, Dippers are desperate and dumb SAF is right, no value in the market. *maybe
Liverpool called in a prominent Psychologist prior to Carrol's move to see if he'd fit in with the Liverpool ethic. He beats up women, is associated with burning cars and is subject to many a revenge attack. Two minutes later a ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã30m bid was tabled.
I would liked to see us spend this month. It's a strange one, because at first Fergie said he didn't have any intention to, then about 5 days later he did an interview saying he would look to bring someone in. But nothing. I think we'll probably have a mini clear out in the summer and buy then. Obviously a goalkeeper is coming in, I can see us bringing in another central midfielder and maybe a left winger.
Rumours are rife were after charlie adam. Not sure about that. His passings amazing but apart from that he is average I think.
The majority of utds great players have been bought. ................................ You could say that about any club to be honest. You could also say that United have had a great amount of success with players we have developed, and a great amount of success with players bought at a bargain.
There is no value in the market and its official now. If Carrol is valued at 35m a top class midfielder will be valued at 80m plus 200k a week wages. There really is no point anymore in wasting money. ITS HYPER INFLATION
sneidjer, bastien OR EVEN DE ROSSI. Cubs are taking notice and if a player like Carrol is valued at 35m plus then those players are valued at 50m plus
nohlman123 There's more to it than that. Several factors have driven Carroll's price up: -He's English -Newcastle don't want to sell -He' still got a while left on his contract There is still value in the market, it just depends on the player and their circumstances
TheStrettyEnd Obviously there's value in the market isn't there? Otherwise van der Vaart and Ozil wouldn't have moved for such low amounts. There's good value and poor value (like Carroll), just like there is in most walks of life
I am not sure there is anyone out there that would improve the first team right now and certainly not at some of the prices being talked about.
