off to SMS on Saturday to hopefully make it 10 wins in a row. Although i'm now more expectant than hopeful!
thought we might have blown it at 2 - 3. Shame on me for not having faith in NA and the lads. I will get my wife to give me a damn good spanking tonight as punishment.
Wow, what a result and performance! Old Saints back in the day would have bottled that. I would of taken a draw from this game! COYR!!!!
Has Wenger got the wrong player. Lallana would be massive in Spain, however as he is not the quickest no Premier League big boys want him; suits me .
As Dave Merrington said - The most impressive thing is that at 3-2 we were actually quite comfortable and weathered the storm. Something we haven't seen from a Saints side in a while.
You guys were worried we were going to give up the lead? Check out the Crystal Palace - Coventry score XD
What a great game & value for the money. Goals, great attacking play, defenders showed their nerve, Kelv superb saves. Showed as a team the players worked for each other & dug in to weather the storm. Excellent Kelv, Back 4 is showing how they work as a defensive unit. Midfield class & even when subs made turned the game & looked stronger. Strikers doing what they can do. Looks like the team is picking itself now. Great to see how we react as a team when the opposition come firing at us.
Come on you Sinners ! I haven`t felt so confident about a Saints side for years. What struck me after Chappers sending off on Saturday was that it didn`t matter - we have seamless cover in all positions, including CB, in my opinion.
You can't be blamed. If you're a Saints fan of long standing, which going by your name it looks that way, then anyone can understand you loosing faith. I've been following this team since 66/67 and I can't remember anything like quite it. This team doesn't do the usual Saints things. They don't crumble under pressure. They had a 3 goal cushion tonight and just used it to regroup themselves to come back at Ipswich. Ipswich don't even have the satisfaction of winning the second half, as for all their initial pressure we matched them with our two goals. As for the first half - unbelievable. I'm still sat here not quite knowing how to take all this brilliance.
Actually looking forward to going to work in the morning as the other bloke in the office is an Ipswich fan, he's already peed off after some text banter...coyr
Nice glass of chilled Pinot Grigio to celebrate a fabulous win tonight. Can't wait to get down to SMS on Saturday.
