Looks like the attendance at the Legends game was a fairly humiliating 3,000. I can't buy into the Keith Peacock love- in, he is a Judas in my eyes for arse licking the Regime
You're wrong there Mr van Gerwen, he has never been quoted on any of the shenanigans, he is Charlton Athletic to the core.
And you're still wrong about Mr Peacock. Your very lame reply suggests you cannot produce a quote from the great man.
@baraettmattesvensson Come to Doncaster & Peterboro - both under cover and the protests should start again
Bollox. He is an apologist. I have first hand experience and have lost respect for KP as a result. I will tell you next time I see you (hopefully around 2035)
The attendance at the Legends game was a woeful 2,300. Proof IMO that we are facing a Selhurst-type scenario again, where fans start to drift away from the club. Once you break the habit ...
An attendance of 2,300 is saddening to hear. The regime's PR department has invested a lot of time in this '25 years back at the Valley' business. It seems however that they only poison everything they are associated with - even past Charlton legends.
You are getting worse than Donald's mate for overreaction Mr van Gerwen. If there are only 8,000 bums on seats for a league game you are not going to get much of a crowd for games like Sunday.
Not really Mr Corbett. As @lardiman says, the club advertised this game for many weeks. It also got lots of publicity on social media. Tickets for people who are under 18 (or look it) were only £2 - you would have easily got in for 2 nicker. And yet a crowd of only 2,300. Who else on here thinks that is a dire turnout?
You could have let the people in for nothing at 15.00 on a Saturday and it would have still been poor.
What did you think the Legends attendance would be Elfs ? I never bought the hyperbole over a sellout, but I thought they might get 10,000 But 2,300 ? We took more than that to the Gills
