Full time whistle: Pompey 4 v 1 Fleetwood.

Great win for us. We had 55% of possession. 13 shots with 5 on target, and we scored from 4 of them.

Well done Pompey! I have said in previous posts that Pompey will grow into this division. KJ will have targetted a position in the top 6. So will the Chairman, and I think it is achievable once PFC avoid mishaps like Northampton. Hats off to Jamal Lowe who may have felt apprehensive after missing a few chances in recent matches, and of course his sending off at the start of the season.

We reaally needed to give someone a good hiding. Can move on this but it's Pompey.

One Fleetwood fan had a terrible cough, he really should suck a Fisherman's friend.

A pleasure to watch today and they were not a bad side. The first half was quite nip and tuck but our possession and general play meant 1-0 was fair. Second half they came out a lot more adventurous and it has to be said the equaliser was a very good goal. Then we just seemed to believe a bit more and played to our strengths. Some great goals and a very good team performance. Pits goal was a belter and Jamal's also excellent. They will get the plaudits but my MoM was young Ben Close. He was like a metronome in the middle keeping things ticking over and never shying away from taking the ball. Yes he had two very brief iffy moments but never let that affect him and showed maturity and courage in a very busy part of the pitch. Great result and great team performance. All of the new guys looking very solid and accomplished.

All five goals were good, but Jamal Lowe's second goal, and Brett Pitman's second goal were superb :emoticon-0148-yes:

It seems like we were better on the pitch, Everywhere. I hope we Don't Stop playing like that in the future. I'd imagine Jackett will say to Lowe, you can Go Your Own Way when it comes to his play on the pitch, giving him the freedom to act as a striker. Talking of Lowe, I'm sure he'll have Dreams about his first ever headed goal. We weren't the deserved winners? Sounds like Little Lies to me. Of course, to continue to get results like this, all our players have to work together like The Chain, because if one link is weak, the rest fail. In golfing terms, let's hope for another Albatross in the future, rather than a double bogey!

I see what you did there Lapras - a spot of Fleetwood Mac references, eh ?

You really are a Man of the World. Oh Well, you wait until the Green Manalishi (Plymouth Argyle) play us........
