1. AP who said his players looked lost in the second half 2. Pegleg for stating the obvious that Rochdale were below us in the table before today 3. alwaysright for buying a two season ST pmsl
Well, Windy, I'm sorry you feel like that - I thought I had put in a bit of effort into my post - including researching the charts to establish a link to The Gills, and keeping it topical to the basis of my reply. There was no need to describe my contribution as a pile of tom-tit
Ha ha.......not your comments (of course) but a reflection on the 'game' and the stats...........dark days.
Yep, agree that Clare played best out of the 11 (or 13) that played, but I hold him mostly responsible for the 3rd goal as he didn't deal effectively with the ball in midfield that the goal resulted from. Bizarrely my second and third choices were also directly or indirectly responsible for the other 2 goals. Zakuani, because he didn't close down Joe Bunney whose shot led to the first goal, and Holy, who knows he was responsible for the second. But it was that sort of game. And Clare and Zak were probably the busiest outfield players because they were actually trying, and the goal ricket aside Holy made some very good stops and saved the penalty (though that was made easy for him; it ain't rocket science to know that against a tall keeper at the very least you keep it low). So 1. Clare (best performing player) 2. Zakuani (2nd best performing player) 3. Holy (3rd best performing player)
