They are a bad team, until the day they play us, where they actually turn up! They’ll go back to being **** next week and we’ll wonder how we only beat them by 1 goal, and how they put 2 past us!
So Aurier HAS to play on Wednesday, then he can be rested whilst Trippier covers at huddersfield. Im relieved we won’t see Alli on Wednesday. He’s utterly dreadful at the moment.
Llorente brings so much experience - both PL and International. Got booked but only after Reid assaulted him and should have seen red. Great signing IMHO!
Yeesh, some ludicrous overreactions to Aurier's sending off on the official Twitter, with people demand he be dropped in favour of Trippier for the foreseeable future to even sacking him. Somebody should sit these people down, have them watch ArsenalFanTV, and point out that's what they look like.
He had another stinker, yet he still ended up with two assists. The difference between his attitude and Son's is night and day, though. Very, very contrasting. It's nice to have those options, isn't it? Most sides would be ecstatic with one of them.
Very spursy at the end but those dirty spammers were in for a hiding when we had 11 men stupid aurier got them back in it with the sending off .oh well 3 more points away from home that'll do for me.can't wait for Wanyama to get back in the side he really makes a difference. I hope poch gives aurier a slap tonight he nearly cost us the points
Blimey, they dont half put you through the wringer our beloved Spurs. Absolutely in control 3-0 up and playing some lovely football then we concede a sloppy goal. Aurier then with a brainless sending off and the game is turned upside down. After being so solid defensively we look all over the place at the back. Still we hung on at the end and got a well deserved win. Kane was magnificent today, his all round game is superb. Eriksen too was excellent especially in the middle third of the game. We were a class above West Ham and the goals conceded and sending off took the gloss off a very stylish display.
Really? Think that's a bit harsh. He's got 4 goals so far, 2 assists today. He's below par but he can always make things happen.
He was shielding the ball..taking it into the corners...where as Kane would be zoning in for his hat trick...Llorente slowed the game down...well played that man.
I think this image encapsulates the relative statuses of the two clubs... please log in to view this image
Well that's one of the things I love about Spurs. Just when you are settling down to a nice comfortable win they contrive to spice things up and give you a near heart attack and a nervous last 10 minutes
I thought it was a good match...only one who was coasting was Alli for me, the rest were well on their game. Sissoko's presence was important against W.Hams big players so hats off to him too. The timing of their second goal suggests it was just the pressure factor that did us over again. I felt better seeing Llorente's experienced head on the pitch for a bit of respite. I enjoyed the game...was awful to watch but that's because I was behind the couch
