Cardiff City v Leeds Utd Match Thread / Breakfast Debate

From watching the highlights of the Millwall game I'd say that there's definitely a weakness out wide for Leeds that we can exploit as well as weaknesses with ball played over the midfield and into the space in front of the defense. If we can use Mendez-Laing, Hoilett, and Big Ken to put pressure on their backline with Damour, Bryson or Ralls advancing up the pitch to support an attack I fancy us to win this one by a margin. It all comes down to stopping their midfield from getting the ball into Saiz and Lasogga though imo.

CCFC... We actually want you to press our back line so we can pass round it and exploit the space behind. Looks good when it works, not so good when it doesn't. To get to us this season you need to commit extra men to press the back line and force the hoof and/or to get to Phillips and O'Kane and stop the supply line. If you do that you'll have lots of space to exploit, like millwall did. If you don't the movement of saiz, Hernandez, alioski will cause you problems.

Colin will certainly know what to do, it isn't rocket science, question is if TC has found a plan b for it.

Or after my genius tactical breakdown it might just come down to who plays well on the night

Bamba and Peltier have been first team regulars at least for their last three games.

 

We are Leeds. We'll occupy whatever league position we want.

Level on points, they're at home. I always want a win, but a draw would be a good result for me.

 

If cardiff were that good they wouldn't have Bamba and Peltier in the team both can be exploited.
