If Everton go for Ancelotti, wonder how much they'd pay to take Clement as his Number 2?

Easy get out for PC and for the Yanks

Will score his share but will need a play-maker to create his opportunities for him. He reminds me of an old style goal poacher, good for tap-ins and running onto crosses in and around six yd box but not much else. So far has been ineffective off the ball, cant run channels and cant create for himself, might come up with the odd goal that flatters him but in general he lives off scraps as he cant shoot from distance, dribble the ball or create his own chances with sexy runs and one-twos. Completely over-rated imo, a poor mans Lineker and a completely skint mans Alan Smith.

Quite right too Master <ok> Re U23's pick any 1 from 11 and all would be better than Clements pet Sanchez, even the goalkeeper

Might just be me but does anyone else feel that there's a bit of manure being flung around in the changing room as well as in the back-office?

Yesterday Clement quoted as saying 'all is well with our recruitment policy this summer'. Today he's saying he's not happy with the make up of the squad as it is short in numbers in defense yet bloated in midfield. Don't these comments contradict each other? I wonder which one has an American accent?

Clement publicly criticizes Messa of all people for a couple of errors he made in the few games he's played yet Sanchez starts every week, ****s all over midfield, Clement says NOTHING, Sanchez gets selected the following week, ****s all over the midfield, Clement says nothing again, Sanchez gets selected....groundhog day.

A successful team is a balanced team but ours is not on the pitch or off it. We've known for ever that the squad is not balanced and at last Clement admitted it today but the reports in the press show the back office is not balanced either by issuing contradictory reports.

Clements selection policy is destabilizing the changing room too and he has to drop his pet project to start to put things right.

I said at the time moving Kingsley out was madness, but who am I? Now Clement is saying basically the same thing, so why did he allow it to happen? what a stupid mess all this is, so amateur, it beggars belief..........<ok>

FFS how anyone can compare tammy with Lineker is stupid. The lad is young and learning his trade and has a great potential to be better than Lineker.......If it was not for the youngsters goals we would be worse off than we are...

I stand by what I say Dai, Abraham is a poor mans Lineker and I'll explain again to you why I think so.

Imo, I don't believe he has the ability to match the hype that surrounded him, what we can say is that he's come from the Chelsea academy to us because they don't think he's good enough to play for their U23's let alone their first team. The only goals I see him scoring are poachers goals because imo, he lacks pace, doesn't have a shot, has a poor leap for someone of his stature, is poor in the air anyway and doesn't have the aggression, footballing brain or tenacity needed by an out and out striker.

As an attacker he is not fast enough to run channels or into gaps behind defenders and is not quick or nimble enough to play quick give and goes or a short passing game on the edge of the area. Not saying he can't do all of those things just saying his ability to do them but imo his ability to do all these things is far to slow or limited to make him a predatory striker, hence me saying that I think he's more of a poacher but not as good as Lineker was, or Alan Smith.

I don't buy your excuses for him either Dai, especially when you realize that he is older than Marcus Rashford. Only 27 days older but Rashford is the one who is showing us all what potential actually looks like. Rashford has huge potential and you can see his future will be with a top team with European exploits but all I see for Tammy is a career with Stoke, West Brom and if he really does push himself then maybe Everton but that's the limit he's shown me.

What's he shown you Dai and when did he do it?

Agreed....we are rotten from the top down. The toe rags even had the council pay for the city shop. January will be ugly if they don’t spend.
