Speaking to a Cardiff season ticket holder for many of years his words to me yesterday were.
“There will be no shame in losing this match, simply because both teams are over achieving pre season predictions. The only shame will be if it’s a big margin”
It’s a game that two teams in good form going together so my prediction will be a draw.

Beat that for sitting on the fence ;)

Don't get me wrong OS, I'd have Dame Colin as our Manager any day of the week, and have said the same innumerable times on here over the last however many years I've been a member.

The way he plays things down, and winds the opposition up are qualities that very few Managers have. Ok some of it may be questionable ethically, like some of the tactics deployed, but frankly who cares if your team wins ?

We'd all love to see our team play purist football, but as you say, the modern game is very different to the one I fell in love with nearly 50 years ago.
I've actually been watching some of the old 70's games from the old First Division in the 1970's (screened on BT Sport) and despite my penchant for how the game used be played in the past, it wasn't particularly high on quality despite the top teams and household names.

I hope Tomlin starts, however I highly doubt he will. Warnock is far to wiley for that, he knows as every City fan does from last season, that when he tries to beat one man to many or thread an impossible needle pass and neither come of it leaves the whole side open to a counter attack, which this season with our pace we have been very good at. Add to that that he dosent track back very well, I just can't see him starting and will only come on if Cardiff have a couple of goal cushion.

Warnock will pack the midfield and play for the draw using all his usual time wasting and game disrupting tactics, as he has at every club he's been at, it's what he does best!

He won't come to play football because he knows how dangerous we can be if he does that, he will for sure look for his team to hit the deck whenever their within 30 yards of goal so he can load free kicks into their bigger players such as Bamba to try and bully our players cause us problems, which is why we need Baker to be fit to play alongside Flint to handle that threat.

well obviously your board has as much interest as paint drying on a damp wall, glad to give you something to actually keep your fingers tapping away at those keys on the keyboard...

    ps
tough s*** on the lack of 3 points today... still you might be second at close of play as I have a no loss bet on the SHEFF U game... hull at 4/1 3/1 draw and evens Sheff any result gives me £30 profit min Hull win £80.
ACTUALLY just realised my £100 on a city win and the 3 x £20 on 1-0; 2-1; 3-1; is a good day all round...... internet betting wow what a bonus to the part time punter only my 6th dip into the market this season and only lost twice..... City v Millwall AND City v Burton

THANK YOU CARDIFF FOR A NICE PAY DAY

You're welcome JGF2 - glad you made a few bob on the game. <ok>

As for your posts, you may be (and probably are) a very nice guy and I don't doubt it, but they're usually statstics based and lack any passion.

Nothing wrong with that, but I wouldn't like to be trapped in a lift with you. <ok>

Probably not, don't talk much football unless dragged into it socially , as my main passion is hydro geology especially in phreatic conduit systems that have been overtaken by vadose development where the risings of such hydrology do not exactly conform to the logic of outflow not conforming, to water always finds it own level, especially when outflow is sometimes higher than the lowest point! and both risings just a few metres apart, with others up to 20 metres away also performing erratically!( conforming or not)

Yes, I noticed that from your posts. <ok>

Whatever floats your boat JGF2 - I wont bore you with the coefficient of thermal rise caused by bunching cables through restricted openings. Calculating conduit capacities were always a pain in the arse and Pyro was my favourite transmission medium though rather an expensive option. <ok>

now that wouldn't be boring, as in the 70's I was in to electronics and design of power amplifiers, power supplies up to 200amp and relationships to do with EMF .... would have thought the need of cable bunching was much less now as technology has moved on with more efficient cable construction and the need due to modern day technology of less power supplied thus less heat generating modules, (used to be caused by old model higher power supply sources, pump up the amps hey ho) germanium for one was a godsend was it not!
