Support, for many, is more than standing on the terraces. It's all according to scale and wealth. Many support with man/woman hours supporting the infrastructure of clubs - lots I know could do to be earning with those hours but they don't. Some chip in for the bills, all at a different rate of affordability. Local clubs survive through many means. Yes good luck to him, but I think it's only right to keep things in perspective.
I'm with Sterling on this, have grave doubts about how this will end up. I have been a lot of games there over the years, and enjoyed the experience, and it would be a travesty if he did move the club to Dene Park.
He's a frigging **** right up there with the Allams if he moves the club to Dene Park. **** right off. Will all this **** with local football, City and now Ferriby, never end?
Jamie seems to have taken over a club and then pissed off its entire fan base all in the same day. Quite some achievement.
Except someone who has bought a club on a speculative punt and is looking at ways to increase income. Perhaps rebranding to "North Ferriby Dunswellians Dunces" will bring in an extra million a year. The alternative is raising ticket prices from £12 to £20.
Maybe he's going to do a deal with the Parish Council. Sell the lease to the Parish Council, move the team out. Parish Council remove covenant and sell to a developer for housing. ps I have assumed many things in creating this post.
Although it would have less impact on ecology, I don't think that would go down well with http://www.saveourferriby.org.uk/
So he’s sacked the manager and put himself in charge for the next game. “Exciting times” for North Ferriby.
James Smailes - Steve Housham sacked at North Ferriby. New owner Jamie Waltham not wasting any time and will take temporary charge Saturday. Expect at least one familiar face to be back playing for the club next week, possibly two.
he's probably pissed off the ferriby fans in two days mooted could moving ground and now sacking the manager
Think Gary Bradshaw's time has gone, would be good if they could pool the local talent and create a 'top local' side. Wonder if Agnew could be tempted from Brid. Did Woodhouse and Waltham part on good terms?
Is it coincidence that there's no new manager appointed for Saturday and Curtis has a fight this weekend? Edit: by the way, I have no idea. It was an open question.
