Yeah, she'd deffo put some lead in yer pencil and it led to her and Ewan leaving their partners and getting together..
She' very good in it. What I love about Fargo is that there's a surprise performance in every one, you expect Billy Bob to be the star but Freeman steals the show. In 2 you have the main characters but it's Kirten Dunst who is brilliantly unhinged and it's Winstead in 3 who builds into a brilliant character.
missed it at cinema. Just watched Blade runner 2049. excellent. visually stunning. takes it's time on scenes without anyone chewing the scenery well maybe Leto a bit.
Just watched first episode. Very "meh". May watch another to see if it gets better because pilots are frequently bad. Very cyber-punk side of sci-fi.
First episode was a lot of computer animation and effects. Very little story. Bad acting from some of the supporting cast (whoever plays the lady cop stood out especially). Lead character is an unlikeable arsehole. I find it difficult to get interested in a show when I don't like any of the characters... So far noone is likable. Might change as you hear more backstory. Often takes a few episodes for cast to get acting down right so that might improve too. Biggest comparison I could make is if demolition man was set in a pessimists cyberpunk future with a less "lovable" lead man and it was a thriller instead of a comedy.
Possibly watched the worst film ever last night....well the first hour of it. 'Kidnap' on Netflix. Terrible 1/10
Was it at least bad in the "I can make fun of this" way? I finished season 2 of "The Detour" last night. One of the best sitcoms I've ever seen. Season 2 started kinda rough and there were a few episodes that weren't great in season 2, but overall got better as the season progressed and the last few episodes were as good or better than anything from season one.
