If Arsenal misses out again, that would be the end of Wenger's era unless he wins the Europa League

It really ought to be the end even if he does get europea league title.

I think arsneal have been working on the next era off the park but they've done will this winter on the park IMO

    Front 3/4 sorted.
    Middle 3 need another player
    Full backs fine (if organised)
CBS: not as bad as made out, need organsiation
    GK over the hill

They really only need a couiple players there and some managerial emphasis on competant defense and they would be a real threat IMO.

    Liverpool points after 26 games

    2013/14 53 finished 2nd (3 games into 11 match winning run) 84 (31 from 12 games)
    2014/15 45 6th 62 (17 from 12)
    2015/16 38 8th 60 (22 from 12)
    2016/17 49 4th 76 (27 from 12)
    2017/18 51 ?

Just a summation of where we have gone onto in past 5 years

2 years we have had great runs. 2 years (one rogers going, one klopp focused solely of europa) we have petered out.

    2 points per game = 24 points = 75 points for season.

    Is that enough?

My prediction is 73-76 points as a range unless klopp goes off the wall and goes deep into CL somehow. (proto could be beaten, any english club could be beaten imo)

What Liverpool fans noticed straight away about Virgil van Dijk vs Everton
After making a £75 million move, there is always going to be plenty of attention on your debut.

But imagine making your debut after a £75 million move in a massive local derby in the FA Cup.

Well, that’s the exact scenario that faced Virgil van Dijk.
After swapping Southampton for Liverpool in a record transfer for a defender, Jurgen Klopp didn’t hesitate in throwing him into the mix by handing him a start against Everton.

Liverpool fans would have been watching him closely as he made his long-awaited debut after his move to Anfield fell through in the summer.
    And they noticed something immediately.

Having not had too much time to train with the squad, there was every chance the Dutchman might take a little time to adapt to the pace of the match.

But that didn’t stop him from ordering around his teammates.
The centre-back showed his leadership skills from the very first whistle, despite only being at the club a few days.

And this is the reaction from Liverpool fans - who were loving it:

Ha, you’re going to look foolish when we go on our winning run.

We are now 9 points ahead of Arsenal, they are unlikely to catch us.

They are gone. Not all sides are going to fall apart enough to let them in.

They need to put everything into Europa now.

We certainly are more likely to make top 4 than them, but 9 points whereas significant is not insurmountable. That's just a three game slump.

If we lost three games in a row and Arsenal won three games in a row we would be even.

I don't expect to lose our next three and I don't expect Arsenal will get 9 (or more) points from their next three... But either is entirely possible.

We've gone on unbeaten streaks from about this time of year until seasons end before. Arsenal could do the same.

what would cheslea and spurs and utd do at the same time.

This is not a 9 points over 11 games and its just two teams arguement.

It'll take 2 clubs to implode to give arsenal hope.

I agree arsenal are more than capable

    however.
    europa league
    league cup final
have to play city at home, utd away and also away games at brighton, newkie and hudderfield and while the should win them they have been pants away form home all year.

Ifthey win 9 games out of 11 i'd be shocked
