I have an English keyboard Oddy but Amanda and Harry (grandson) have French keyboards. I'll pop down and check
No good for my German keyboard Ron but I did google and found this, which works: Try alt+156 Hold the alt key down and type the 3 digits, in this case 156, on the numeric keyboard then release the alt key. Magically the pound sign will appear. £ The numeric keyboard is not the row over digits 1-9 along the top. Its the 3x4 grid of numbers on the right. If you have a laptop, then you will need to activate the num lock to use the numeric keyboard. £ here is one as proof
****ing hell. Can't even standardise on a keyboard within the EU. Tell you what Oddy, don't bother with the £ sign - just put the number (eg 100 win - I don't input the £ sign) My keyboard has a mind of its own. If I want an "e acute" like so "é" I just enter Ctrl+Alt+e. However, sometimes I do that and get the Euro sign, which I can get simply by entering Ctrl+Alt+$ - like so € - easy. Surely you can get a £ by entering Ctrl+Alt+ something
What a complete waste of time Next time I'm bored I'll find something else to do (I wouldn't say that on GC )
