I would keep Holding he's going to be class, renew Wilshere's contract.

    Xhaka I'm 50/50 on.

    Sell:

    Iwobi
    Wellbeck
    Debuchy
    Elneny

    Appoint NEW manager!
Bring in GK, creative mid, defensive mid and quality CB also bring Lucas Perez back into the squad.

Totally agree, the 2008 team was my favourite team outside the Invincibles one. They really played good football and that AC Milan match showed how well Wenger got us playing. Which is a complete contrast to the crap we see in our midfield now. He used to love buying midfielders, now he buys players like Xhaka and Elneny. That's why i'm hoping Minlslat fixes this problem quick in the summer.

Didn't we sell him? The best signing we can achieve is a new manager, keeping Wenger will only continue the crap.

No Deportivo didnt get the deal done in time. He's out on loan. Still under contract with Arsenal next Season.

Lucas Perez is not having the best of times at Deportivo. Fans have spray painted 'go back to arsenal' near where he supposedly lives.

Not sure brining him back would be helpful. He is 30 as well.

after getting rid of Wenger, the FIRST player I want to see moved on is Xhaka.

He is one of my least favorite arsenal players of the last 15 years. He just doesnt have a role in this team, and seems to be very very average across the board. I think its time we accept he was a poor signing and ship him out. get 15 - 20m for him and move on.

these also need to be sold, as they are not good enough:
    Iwobi,
    Chambers,
    Welbeck
    Elneny
    Jenkinson
    Akpom

Then we have an issue with these players that we should think about replacing sooner rather than later:
Koscielny because he is turning 33...
Aaron Ramsey because he is in the last year of his contract, and am honestly not bothered if he re-signs.

Then we have these players that wont be with us:
    Mertesacker is retiring
Cazorla will [sadly] not play for us again

if there is ONE player I would bring back it would be Joel Campbell. I thought he had a great work rate when he was here, which we are seriously lacking.

We have a LOT of rebuilding to do this summer - I actually cannot remember a time when we had a bigger rebuilding job.

and AGAIN, this is why its imperative that we get rid of Wenger ASAP. This rebuilding job should NOT be overseen by him.

Last night, I watched an hour of highlights of Milan beating Roma 2-0, in Rome. They looked pretty bloody good and very defensively organised and hard working. That was their 6th win in their last 8 league games. They drew the other 2 games.

Gattusso may be a ridiculously angry twat sometimes but he's sorted out their problems pretty well for now. You've got a game on your hands.

We are not winning this tie, not with Welbeck upfront, no chance.

Damn, checked the odds for this game and considering our away form this season, the bookies have a Milan win at 2.40. Very generous.

I said this before on another thread - anyone who thinks we have a good chance of progressing past this round is living on another planet IMO.

They are in very good form, look strong all over the pitch and they have a manager who has completely reinvigorated the direction of where the club are going. Their players are hungry, competitive and have a newfound determination to win.

We will need to bring our A game to get past them. I still believe we have the better players [on paper], but given how shockingly feeble we have been for most games this season, it is unlikely we will get any further. We are showing the complete opposite qualities of what Milan are showing right now.

We got beaten at home by ****ing Ostersunds ! How people think we will get past Milan is beyond me. We look a million miles away from progressing at this moment in time. Maybe if we get a few wins under our belt and build on some momentum, but currently no chance.

Early pressure from Milan, to be expected. The first 25 mins here are crucial not to concede.

Wellbecks first few touches have been crimes against football.

Awful first touch. Ospina got lucky there too. We've actually started quite well though <ok>

We've had so much joy down the left so far, no surprise that we've scored from there. Their RB is having a mare. <ok>
