Only thing I want after the match is Wenger's resignation. At the post match interview. That's the only direction this club can go now.
I can’t tell how much of the game is us being a disaster and how much is city being brilliant. Either way when that third goal went in - that was the first time I felt sorry for Arsene Wenger. I think it’s because it might be starting to be clear to him that the players are no longer playing for him
He'll never accept that he is past it. Yes City have been stirling going forward and we have been trash at the back. But our few bright sparks in attack will probably convince him that we still have something to offer. We don't. Club is clearly on quite a swift downward trajectory now (started towards the end of 2017) and it's going to get worse before it gets better.
Wenger being forced to watch his current side getting comprehensively beaten by football that his own teams used to play. Doesn't get much worse than that.
Sane has made our defence look like amateurs. His ball control, acceleration and guile have bamboozled our defence. What a player he is, though.
City just cruising through this second half, saving their energy for Sunday, and we can’t even score a single goal.
We are getting played off the park here. We're just chasing shadows whilst City stroke the ball around. The chasm between our two clubs at the moment is frightening.
It literally looks like a top team vs relegation fodder. Actually I take that back, a relegation team would have more fight tbh...
Wenger is utterly pathetic, a man who cant even honour his own word, every time I seem him sitting on that bench , I feel nothing but rage these days. Such a selfish bastard.
I guarantee you that the City players in the dressing room will be telling each other they can't believe how easy their last two games were...
The squad isn't too bad actually. Its just at CM/DM that we are really lacking. The biggest issue here is just the fragility / total lack of backbone. That mainly comes from the Boss.
It’s so ****ing clear for anyone who can’t see it, Wenger is simply scared ****less of life after Arsenal especially given his age, if he truly loves this club he would have walked away and let someone else have a go. An utter embarrassment.
I am just not sure aubameyang and lacazette really work with the way we play. I don’t think it’s just a confidence thing. We need a striker that can take people on and make things happen.
So in 13 games this year, we have won 4, and to think people were worried about the potential decline of Arsenal if we sacked Wenger.
