Ive not done my brains on it yet, backed it for a race thats still to be run, didnt back it in the trial.

Im on Burning Ambition at 7s but it looks a 5/1 the field race to me, lottery of rogues. Still about 50 in the betting for it.

So you hype up a horse going as far as to actually make a video of it training with music over it, put up flashing signs about it, tell everyone it’s a monster and generally make a right cock of yourself over it and now you turn round and say you didn’t back it for the race you were counting down to, **** me Boris we know you’re an absolute bullshiter of the highest but take a bow my man you’ve outdone even yourself here <applause><applause><applause>

If I believed half of the stuff on here about account restrictions and closures I would be the only person able to get a bet on anywhere <doh>

How come I can get on what I like with them but bugger all with Sportsbook and next to bugger all with Paddy Power..........

They wont be closing any accounts. There was reasoning behind it and it was viewed as relatively risk free, still probably is.

I doubt its going to cause any closures, think the vast majority of restrictions are triggered by algorithms or information sharing.

Chances of Samcro running the Supreme are slim to none and taking the 14/1 about one of the most high profile horses of the festival at no risk while hes evens for another race is hardly the work of shrewdies, if anyone is getting shut down its whoever is responsible for leaving the price up that makes no sense to offer in NRNB market, regardless of how unlikely it is to run.

Oh man, there was me and a few thousand others on Twitter thinking we were being shrewdies <laugh>

It baffles me why anyone WOULDN’T take a punt at that price with plenty of rain to come.

Certainly not a 14/1 shot that he lines up in the Supreme and the only ones naysaying are those that didn’t get involved or have their nuts on the Ballymore.

I would be delighted if he went Supreme where he would laugh at them.

He’s gone 6/4 fav for it, Getabird 13/8 with Sky <laugh>

No, more like 40/1 he runs in the Supreme as the owner is sick to death of stating that it runs in the Ballymore!

PS; I have the insurance, as does O'Leary.

Drever, not sure if you understand where I am coming from so I shall explain

    1. I have a very decent price single on SAMCRO to win the Ballymore.
    2. I have a very tasty double Samcro (Ballymore), Apples Shakira (Triumph)
    3. I took 14/1 NRNB with Bet365 SAMCRO to win the Supreme (just in case) and would cover all my bets and then some if he won the Supreme.
    4. I dont think for a minute he will run in the Supreme.
    5. Why would I want to take your money when the bookies will do for me.
    6. There really wasnt anything remarkable about taking the 14/1 with NRNB insurance, two people nudged me in the right direction before it became a hot topic on twitter

    Forgive my misunderstanding Stick <cheers>

Lads, do you really believe it’s such a long shot? He won the best 2m Novice in Ireland.

Why was everyone so short when B365 went to 14/1? Someone asleep at the wheel? Or did they take O’Leary’s word as gospel?

Drever, I find what they did all rather odd but basically a lot of people will have put money on the horse with them for the Supreme. They will have taken millions. They only give that stake money back after the race so then thousands of punters will have money back into their Bet365 accounts. What do you think they are going to do, those punters? Take it out? Or bet on something else?
They are pretty much insuring they have loads of punters with money in their accounts on Day One of the Festival.
Hell they probably bunged O'Leary a 100k to leave him in.

Cracking line from Tony Keenan on the ATR preview on the likelihood of Samcro running in the Supreme, ‘there’s more chance Istabraq running in the Supreme’ :emoticon-0102-bigsm

The most anyone could get on at 14/1 was £25. If that’s the case, they are genius - Rory Delargy being a judge I respect even questioned it. Does not make sense and this could be the story of the Festival.
