How much can you say about a game?
If you read most of our match threads you will see most are in agreement on performance levels so not much to talk about really.

I suppose we could make up fictitious penalties or cards to drag things out but it seems pointless really when we have all seen the reality of the games and not just read a match report.

Said years ago that I'd hate us to get him. Yes, he wins trophies but the style is ****ing awful.

As much as I don't like Man Utd, I wouldn't wish Mourinho on anyone!

 

I don't disagree with you that Mourinho's football is ****e, and I want him gone.

However his approach isn't much different to fat Rafa, and you lot all loved him. So seems strange that coming from a Liverpool fan.

 

I dunno, I think they deserve each other...

 

Rafa was negative but he still allowed at least a couple of flair players to do their thing. Gerrard & Torres with Alonso suppling was great to watch.

Tbh I agree with the pundits - you guys just had an off night, wish you had played like that on sat and how you played against us tonight. It’s tough but you still got FA cup to go for.

If you get that and second how will you guys see your season. I would have taken that.

The biggest problem we had with Sevilla is that they play pragmatic aswell, so we just ended up cancelling each other out, and then we got stung by a quality finish to be fair.

I don't think Mourinho knows what to do when he faces a side that park the bus too, probably why he had problems with Rafa to all those years ago.

 

Nah - there’s not much difference between finishing 2nd and 4th.

There is a big difference in being through to the next stage of the CL and being knocked out.
