hmmm.. that's a deep and meaningful question.

all we know for sure is ibwt is the only guy with a 100% win record.

IBWT is a small game threader. Flat track threader. He bottles the big threads. I'm threading at the business end of the season when we're going to the CL final and confirming top 4.

There are two options: win or #seasonover

Clean sheet and no injuries against Everton is a win. 0-0 against City is a win. #context

Not been the best of weeks
Tuesday nights visit of Liverpool should give an insight into whether Pep has it in him to get them back on track.
I’ve no doubt in my mind if we had gone full strength yesterday then it would’ve been a much happier mood in the Etihad yesterday evening and has it been damaging psychologically,we’ll know if we capitulate on Tuesday.

Be interesting how Liverpool set up,I can’t see them coming at us gung-ho as is their wont at Anfield,I suspect they will play deep & narrow and look to pick us off on the counter as realistically one away goal will be enough to take them through to the semis.
Biggest issue for me has been our lack of tempo.Plenty of meaningless possession with little end product with slow approach play
We have to be right on it from the off,an early goal and you never know as Liverpool can ship goals as we can

    Ederson
    Walker Kompany Stones Delph
    Fernandinho
    Sterling DeBruyne Silva Sane
    Aguero

You think after 90 mins of epic failure Pep will stick with the Sane on TAA strat?

Early goal or 2 for City and its game on. I just hope we keep our cool and the players appreciate the value of getting an away goal

tbh we sat on half way then pressed and broke fast. I see no reason for us to change that. if we sit really deep we might as well give you the 3 goals.

i will be honest I think that team of tour is likely it.. your issue is no.overlap.on left side. tou nwed siva over there with sane.

if we get a fit salah I think you will need real care as we will target that back 3 with pace.

This. We sat far too deep / Man City defence pushed out once Salah went off. We won't hold out for 90mins with that setup, only way to stop it is if we have pace up top. Mane is quick but one guy is easier to stop.

Yeah we have to be controlled. We can press from half way ok and counter hard as a tactic but camping out in our 18 yard line = a hammering

Having a dangerous out ball will help but we were comfortable at Anfield. City weren't scoring even if we played all night. They need to change their tactics for the 2nd leg.

Aguero for Jesus is one change.

Lil rim in will stretch us on both sides. They got that badly wrong first leg.

Imo the team for city above is prob most likely and packed with quality.... they could blow us away but we could do serious damage to them too.

Imo first goal could well be crucial.

@Paulpowersleftfoot's team has some quality players but it also has Ederson, Walker, Stones, Delph, Sterling, and Sane
