And thought about pulling him back for a needless penalty? Can't and won't comment further about him as he might have played well in the rest of the match
Where are you in the ground mate? Agree with a fair bit of that but poor atmosphere??? I thought it was cracking all things considered. McBurnie I thought was their best player but not what we need, a sort of taller Roofe. Definitely don’t think it was a penalty (right in front of us) but can understand why Hammill thought it was (a coming together in the non sexual sense), and the guys’ miss from half a yard was horrific but BPF got a glove on it just before it got to him. Thought Pennington grew into the game and cannot see he only scored the same as the ever dire Alioski, thought he was awful. Phillips maybe a five and Pablo about 2, otherwise pretty much agree. And for those chirping about it’s not worth going, you’ll never be there when Tom Pearce scores his first goal, electric, he’s one of our own, he’s one of our own, Tom Pearce.... Pearce, BPF and O’Connor all excellent again.
Too far away to see it but Jannson appeared to miss his header and O’Connor must have been really unlucky, such a shame because he is not out of place at this level. I can only wonder how many more points we would have had with BPF in goal all season instead of the other two buffoons and TP is a potential diamond, don’t miss Charlie Taylor at all based on that. More importantly, so nice to have a pre match beer in the sun instead of that blizzard pre Wednesday, see you at QPR??
Fair enough, shouldn’t judge a player on a 10 second clip. I think he should have competed with their guy, gone with him, made it hard to Get off a clean shot. In this blip he didn’t. But it was more his grumpy shrugging afterwsrds that worries me he’s not feeling committed to the cause
To be fair, the best bit was BPF absolutely roasting him for it, not just there to make up the numbers, a bit like Paudie calling out the big time Charlie from Villa the other week, they need that bit of steel if they have a chance of really making it.
Bit hard on Saiz and Alioski IMO,thought both did as much as any,Pennington seems to be a better RB than CH,the young one's are not out of their depth and wont let us down.Sure I heard Alioski say tell Glory get saving as he hit the winner. And Glory shhhh dont say a word the table don't lie.
If only you had doubled the bet... Shame At least two from Norwich, Ipswich and qpr will overtake us on the final day . Ps the table does lie sometimes. E,g. Millwall are still in the playoffs.
