So it's a 12 pointer this Saturday .... the Scotchman and I will be there in NW Q giving our discrete support just like all good Addicks do... no over the top questioning the Ref's parentage or asking the oppo's goalkeeper how many pies he had eaten Saturday morning.... no!... just shouting "Play up Charlton... give us a goal" from time to time For me we need to change to a 3-1-4-2 formation because Venky's will want to attack from the gun as they will still feel they can win the Championship so we need pace to counter at speed... Fosu would be perfect in this situation but with him not being available I would play Dasilva in left midfield .. so Amos Konsa--Pearce--BFG Kashi Marshall--FosterC--Aribo--DaSilva Magennis--Ajose I guess you could swap in Reeves for Aribo.... I just like Aribo AllHell
@AllHellLetLoose You could have titled this thread the "****ie Foreign Owners Derby" ? I followed the Blackburn game on Sky last night...Saturday could be our toughest game of the season. They are a decent side. Will Jackson get the chance of a cameo on his final home appearance for Charlton as a distinguished player ?
let's also stop this talk about it being Skipper's last home game of the season... we will have a home game in the play-offs
Now that we're at the business end of the season I'd expect Bowyer to put out a formation the players are comfortable with, ie a 4-4-2 diamond. Fosu is a huge loss, and I trust Bowyer will not make the mistake he made last time of replacing him with KaiKai. Amos; Konsa, BFG, Pearce, DaSilva; Aribo,JFC, Kashi, Reeves; Magennis, Ajose. Should get a draw. 1-1.
I really can't see us beating Blackburn. But if we can get a draw from that match and beat Rochdale it could be enough. Squeaky bum time.
If we are 1-0 up there will be 8 minutes of extra time If we are 0-1 down there will be a max of 2 minutes extra time FACT!
@baraettmattesvensson will be seen outside the Valley before the Blackburn game ...buying programmes FACT !
The walking grenade will be in a boozer in Norwich for 11am before heading on to Dereham v Hertford. FACT!
I've seen a few predictions on Twitter from our fans of a 20,000 crowd tomorrow. Its good to see a few loyal stalwarts put aside the reservations all true Charlton fans have always had about the Virus, and come back just for one game to give the players a final push. There is absolutely no doubt in my opinion that the fanatical away support at Fratton Park last Saturday helped our team win a very tight game. Lots of things are still sh1te at our club - the prick owner, the prick ex Chairman, the complete Marie-Celeste like management team- but our true fans will always be there, & can make a difference now. The stakes are absolutely huge, regardless of the owner next season. The difference between keeping Konsa, Fosu and Amos ...the difference between 3,000 ST holders and 10,000 ST holders. Ignore the plastics, the keyboard warriors and the WUM Apologists like ^^^^^^ ...still claiming yesterday that there is no evidence that Duchatelet has destroyed Charlton Imagine being so Seriously Determined to make a name for yourself as a Seriously WUMing poster that you side with the Virus over your own loyal fans. Cometh The Hour, Cometh The Real Charlton Fans.
Sitting in Casualty with my Daughter. Who fell over on a night out. It looks like she has broken her arm. Judging by the amount of people here. I don’t think I will make it.
My daughter's partner broke his upper arm 3 weeks ago. It was a bad break, you could move the bones around. At first they were going to leave it to heal by itself. Conservative Management it's called. We were quite horrified. You could see by the x-ray that the bone was going into un-natural positions and having to be put back. He got an operation eventually, and a steel plate fitted, but he had to fight for it. It's a controversial new method of (non-)treatment, which you should have nothing to do with, as there are long-term risks.
