I just found it strange that you only mentioned maths initially, followed by the astounding revelation that you got an A in that subject. Coincidence Monsieur Tash?

    Beat ya!

A*in music was the only unexpected one, but surprisingly everyone in our year got A* for that. :D

It's a tie usually yoshiyella. They throw complex equations at me and I retort with some hard parsing of syntax!

Yuk syntax! I always like to show people proof that 0 = 1, then half an hour later will disprove it by the same methods

The woman at our canteen today used similar mathematical mind games I'm sure. I paid 60 quid for a baguette.

NUFC scraping fairly meaningless win in the Mickey Mouse cup against a league 1 side >>>> 3 A*'s in my GCSE results.

Think I got my priorities right!

Haha back from Leeds but yeah, I got my A* in standard maths, it was just Additional that I ****ed up :) gotta say I agree that despite getting the results I wanted, I am more happy with 2 solid wins, the news that we are signing a few quality players and the fact Ranger (who I despise) could be shown the door!

A good week to be a Toon fan! :cheesy:

Just got my results, 1 A*, 2 As, 4 Bs, 4 Cs. They're alright, easily good enough to get me into 6th form

the only problem being i was predicted straight A*s <yikes>

There are some intellectual Geordies on these boards like! I wouldn't worry about not getting the predicted grades, as long as you get in Sixth Form :) At the end of the day it's all about the A-Levels!

I know, I know. I'm cool the results, it's just that it says something about my work-rate as i definatly could have much better results if i'd put any kind of effort at all
