I apologise if this has already been said, as I haven’t read all the posts. I didn’t see all the match, but what I did see of it I thought Sterling’s impression of Craig Fagen’s headless chicken routine was excellent.
I was really pleased with that. Brilliant first half. Heads never dropped. Focus never dropped. We lost the intensity a bit in the second half but we kept it calm and stuck to the plan. No panicking, no rushing, and no throwing the game away. 3 points on the board in what was probably our most important game in the group, our first world class striker in a decade scoring a brace, young players looking exciting and fearless. An intelligent and well reasoned unpopular manager that nobody liked. Finally, England has a proper football team.
Yeah, he seemed to pull his groin around 40 minutes in. Should've gone off at half time for Rashford or Loftus-Cheek. Don't think he'll be starting against Panama, I feel that Loftus-Cheek's performance from the bench merits a start. Would also bring in Rose for Young and Rashford for Sterling.
18.3 million people tuned in to England last night. Over 70% of TVs. There was also an extra 3 million watching on iPlayer, making it about 21.3 million overall. That's mad for a group game. It's the 9th highest ever viewership for an England game (probably higher if you include iPlayer viewers).
The 3 changes I'd make too, was calling for rashford and RLC to come after about an hour. Rose too just to add some width to the left side, I don't mind Young but it slows most attacks down that side having to constantly cut in
Due to literally nothing else worth watching being on, and it finished just before Love Island started
Young put in a ball for Lingard though which should have been a certain goal. He has that in him. I'd play him again. The only one I'd consider changing is Sterling. Everything seemed to break down once it got to him. I really want him to prove people wrong but he just keeps on failing to do so.

I'd start Rose ahead of Young and switch him if he starts flagging, he's a far more dangerous player.
I only managed to catch the highlights on ITV, but from what I saw, Harry M had a good game, Harry H just gets better, the 2nd goal was really a clever header, totally foxed the keeper and defenders on the line. Extremely impressed with Henderson who I thought was excellent. Fully deserved the win, should have had 2 penalties, how the ref didn't give them after giving theirs God only knows.
Sterling is **** at international level Some players just dont click and he's one Utter waste of a shirt And against the better teams stuff like that will cost a victory Loftus cheek is the man for the big games
