I've never really been into Vlad, I'm more of a Vitali fan. But he's done pretty good over the years, well enough to be considered a decent champion. And if we're going to think of Joshua as being the real deal, then Vlad has to be ok, the man was pushing 40 and did a great job in that fight. I think the man had about 25 World Heavyweight Title wins. Not to be sneezed at.

I agree Cyc. I wouldn't be taking short odds on Joshua being Champ for long. Only a matter of time before someone chins him and then finishes him off. Still reminds me too much of Bruno to be honest. Not that he did too badly

Huge news, Dillian Whyte is to face Joseph Parker on July 28 at the O2. Both men have a lot to lose. The Body Snatcher had two World Title Eliminators up his sleeve which could go down the toilet if he loses, and Parker, after his Joshua loss, could slip to oblivion if Whyte does him in. A big pat on the back to both men for taking the risks, especially in an age where ducking seems to be the name of the game.

Now that really is as the old cliche says, a 50/50 fight.

I really couldn't pick a winner at this stage as it's so close.

I see Joseph Parker is 10/11. Forced to place a bet it would have to be Parker. No-one has ko'd Parker, including Joshua, so I can't see White winning by ko and I doubt he would win on points. 10/11 Parker to win by any means seems a decent price to me

On PPV as well <doh><doh><doh> It's gonna take a he'll of a lot more than Kell Brook on the undercard to get me buying.

Parker is as tough as teak. But I just don't think he has the skills nor the power to beat Whyte.

I would slightly hedge my bets on a Whyte points win.....Just!

Whyte v Parker on a PPV is a disgrace.

Massive fan of AJ and overall I think think Eddie Hearn has done a good job of reigniting the British boxing scene. But even some of AJs fights shouldn’t be PPV.

But if Whyte v Parker is PPV then I’m no longer sure what “normal” Sky Sports will ever show.

Neither of them are up to top level

Off to Glasgow SECC Taylor v Postol world title eliminator Sat night should be decent although Taylor 1/10...Postol only defeat pts Terence Crawford....overprice at 6s..
The fellow im a long term advocate of Lee McGregor fights on the undercard in his 4th pro bout against a Tanzanian 22wins 12ko only 2 defeats...for the IBF World Super Bantamweight u23 title...which if he wins will automatically rank him in the top 20 IBF World Rankings at senior level....really interesting how his career is progressing....McGuigan camp wont have him beat in the division...

A couple of days ago in Oklahoma City, Super Lightweights Alex Saucedo and Lenny Zappavigna put it all on the line in what could possibly be the fight of the year. Round 4 is a real chance of being named the round of the year. This is one brutal affair.

I just came across some bloke on YouTube who goes by the name UltraTechSports RAW. The man loves a good rant. Below is 36 minutes of nice information garnished with a liberal dollop of bile. <laugh>

Eddie Hearn's latest signing Big Baby Miller gets into Joshua's face at the Povetkin face off. For real or just another Matchroom piece of bullshit?

There is an absolute monster of a fight coming up this Saturday in Moscow, where the final of the Cruiserweight World Super Series takes place. Oleksandr Usyk of the Ukraine, holder of the WBC & WBO belts will meet the Russian Murat Gassiev, owner of the WBA & IBF titles. The winner gets all the belts as well as the Ali Trophy.

The left handed Usyk is the more flashy of the two and the orthodox Gassiev is the heavier and more precise puncher. Usyk is 21-20 and Gassiev 11-10 in the betting. This bout could be anything.

A fight of lesser proportions than the one above takes place at Super Welterweight this weekend in Las Vegas. The 21 year old WBO Champion Jaime Munguia will defend his belt against Liam "Beefy" Smith. Beefy was down to challenge Sadam Ali for the same title, but had to pull out due to illness, leaving Munguia to take his spot. Jaime Munguia handed Sadam Ali one father of a hiding. Munguia can be hit, but I don't know if Smith can hold him off?

Can't wait for this!! I think Gassiev is going to crush him in the later rounds. But I'm a **** judge so anything can happen.
