I think Terry and Fabregas just p**s off opposing fans with their actions and bs. Same as Rio and Neville probably do. But Barton is truly hated for being such a violent t***pot

 

Terry. Cole gets a special mention.

 

I can't disagree with swarbs there, but there are a few others that could be added to the list for the dispicable actions off the pitch:

Terry - Numerous actions including his parents and shagging Bridge's missus, as well as the post 9/11 comments.
Rooney - Shagging pros, including when his wife was pregnant. Comments to the camera about the fans after the England game etc etc
Bellamy - Various assaults etc.
Cashley Cole - Nearly swerved off the road (but probably only from gooners), cheating on Cheryl many times, certain mobile phone incidents.
Gerrard - Nightclubs, 16 years olds.

Got to be loads that could be added to this list.


Much as I hate Neville, him, Scholes and Giggs have generally kept out of the limelight and public eye.

S'funny - if you'd asked this question 20 years ago - no-one would have mentioned the personal life of the players, just why they hated them for their on pitch antics. How times changes.
