Read this and you’ll see why he provides Spurs and or England no leadership whatsoever. Without exaggeration every single sentence is littered with “I” “me” etc. There is no way any other football federation with any sense of a clue would’ve made him captain if their national teams. Nothing matters except for personal accolades. No mention of his disappearing act in the quarters and semis in all the “I” talk though.

Well said Tdot, no doubt the village spuds will mock your post but 'Arry is so far up his own arse his eyes are in his throat.

    Instead, we have Jordan Henderson.

Your right we had a midfield of Jordan Henderson...and no one else. Alli and Lingard were both just behind Klaim and didn't contribute anything to the battle in the middle. For all the criticism of Hendo he had to battle Modric, Ratkitic and Brozovic on his own as well as all the other games we played.

And Henderson was more of a leader than Klaim...

Can't see why they're both clueless and influential.

That means nothing to me. I couldn’t care less about England if I put forth effort, and I’d rather Hendo have not even gone to Russia. It’s a completely different subject all together discussing their individual leadership qualities.

Hendo's a Mong but Harry is a headless chicken when the captaincy comes to mind. Maguire for me. <ok>

Bringing up a debate about Kane’s leadership when he (and Stones in the same article) has given an honest assessment of his World Cup performance suggests something ulterior was on your mind.

What about it? Our midfield was poor. Henderson done his best of his limited capabilities by grafting hard while Alli, Lingard and Sterling, especially the latter, let us down.

He was ****... no Spurs fan has said otherwise.

Although he did still have bail Henderson out against Colombia.

No. I read the article and it was clear. Nothing was/is about the team. Everything is about him. I don’t think I had to psss judgment as it’s clear as day. I more wanted to share the article to show how oblivious to that fact he is. Either oblivious, or he truly doesn’t care about team goals at all.

TBF Sterling didn't let down our MF since he was playing as a forward.

Hard to tell what his actual position was because he messed up practically everything he touched. Probably right, though, he let the whole side down rather than just the midfield.

Assessing his own performance has got nothing to do with how he cares or not for the team. It's hardly as if he's come out and said the team let him down and they should've done more for him, he's simply stated he's proud to have won the golden boot, glad to have proven himself after the Euros horror show and also says how he could've done better in the final three games which are all fair and true points.
