We already know Bristol Energy is going to be our shorts sponsors, which was reported in that thread a few days ago.

Well now its been announced who our front and back shirt sponsors are.

Front of shirt sponsor will be 'Football Index' who were the worlds first football stock market.
Back of shirt sponsor will be 'Mintbet' who are an online betting company.

    Football Index:
Bristol Rovers Football Club are delighted to announce that in a record deal for the club, the world's first football stockmarket, Football INDEX, are the Club's new front of shirt sponsor. The UK licensed gambling platform provides users with an exciting alternative to traditional betting markets where traders can buy and sell shares in professional footballers with real money. The first of its kind, Football INDEX is revolutionary in offering customers a chance to bet on the future success of football players, rather than gambling on the short-lived outcome of football matches. The platform operates with all the characteristics of a stockmarket, with traders buying units of footballers (known as 'Shares'), building their football portfolios and trying to sell at a profit.

Football INDEX Founder & CEO Adam Cole said:
“We are delighted to further strengthen our position as part of the fabric of English football and look forward to a successful season in partnership with Bristol Rovers. The sponsorship will showcase our brand-new logo which will be rolled out across our website and media channels over the next few weeks.”

Tom Gorringe, Commercial Director of Bristol Rovers F.C said:
“This is a landmark deal for the club, with the front of shirt sponsorship sold for the first time in a decade. Football INDEX is an innovative concept and so it is great kudos for the club to be aligning ourselves with such a progressive brand. We’d like to thank the team at Football INDEX for opting to showcase their new brand on our first team kits for the 18/19 season.”

    Mintbet:
As one of the fastest growing new online betting companies, Mintbet are delighted to have secured a deal to be the Official back of shirt sponsor with Bristol Rovers. Owen Lyle, Marketing Director for Mintbet said:
"We hope this is the start of a great working relationship together between Mintbet and Bristol Rovers and we wish the club every success for the upcoming season. Bristol Rovers are a long-standing football club with a loyal and passionate fan base, and we see the partnership as a great fit for our UK brand. We aim to engage with the large fan base and community surrounding the club."

Tom Gorringe, Commercial Director of Bristol Rovers F.C said:
"We are delighted to welcome Mintbet to our growing list of partners for the upcoming season. Mintbet's commitment to the club and our vision has enabled us to continue to develop our partnership portfolio to support our on-field ambitions for the coming campaign and beyond."

The new kit has been launched for the upcoming season, with a modern twist on the club's traditional blue and white quarters included prominently on the home shirt for the 2018/19 season.

Manufactured by Macron, the away kit returns to the popular yellow trim, featuring a smart striped styling, with a third-kit option reverting to the black and luminous green design that was a fan-favourite last campaign.

Following feedback from supports, there has been an update on kit prices for the upcoming season with adult shirts for the 18/19 season available from £39 and junior shirts coming in at £29.

Due to an issue with production and subsequent delay in the club receiving the kits from the supplier, we are implementing the following sales procedure for all 2018/19 replica kits.

At Sunday's Open Day - supporters will be able to purchase the brand new 2018/19 away kit in adult sizes and children's sizes. There will also be an opportunity to pre-order the home shirt - in both adult and children's sizes.

Also available Sunday, will be the brand new range of Macron training wear, as worn by Darrell Clarke's squad and the goalkeeper shirts for the 18/19 season.

All of the new merchandise will be available for the new club store which will open for the first time on Sunday.

2018/19 home kit will become available in-store before the first home game of the season. We will inform supporters through the club's official channels when the home shirt is available in-store.
All supporters are reminded to check the sizes before purchasing as Macron sizes generally come up one to two sizes smaller than other retailers.

For the first time in a long time, I am not a big fan of our new kits. There is barely any blue on the home kit, and the away kit is a much less vibrant shade of yellow than normal (it reminds me of a Torquay United kit).

As for the sponsors, I thought Rovers were above displaying the names of betting organisations on our shirts, so I am disappointed at the club for allowing that, regardless of how much the stock of Football Index is supposedly growing.

I think I might just stick to my Thornton's Travel kit. They have a much prettier logo after all <whistle>

Disappointed they have gone away from encouraging local businesses from sponsoring our team, not sure that advertising betting is a good way forward

I am not keen on the home shirt for the same reasons where there is hardly any blue. I prefer the away over the home but I am not keen on the away either. I too will be sticking with what I already have.

Also I am not liking the betting companies either . But I wouldn't mind if it had Thatchers or Blackthorn as our sponsors, so would I be contradicting myself here because of the dangers alcohol can cause? Its difficult. But to look at a positive here, its a record sum that the club has received for sponsorship.

I preferred the solid Blue quarters rather than the hooped / cross striped effect
I too am not a fan of the betting companies being advertised. I haven't seen any figures as to the amount gained through the new companies advertising

Don't like the shirt { Home } and like even less the sponsor, what were they thinking { £££ } ? Very disappointed with the club's decision on this, gambling should not be promoted and especially where youngsters who will obviously want their parents to purchase them a shirt are involved........ rubbish rovers.

I agree but just for the record, kids shirts wont have those sponsors on their shirts. They will have Bristol Energy who sponsors the shorts. I wasnt aware of this but seen the away kit yesterday at the fun day. As you can see here....

Well, the home design is growing on me, tho like most more blue around the sponsors logo would be ideal...

I also think macron have missed a trick with the shading on the away shirt being stripes, when quarters (obviously) was the way to go...…

The home shirt is being slightly changed. This could be why you cant buy them at the moment. The club was not happy with the main sponsor not being centred on the shirt. They are apparently centralising the sponsor in the white gap in the middle. So either they bring the sponsor name down a bit or they are bring the blue up a bit like this on the right picture here.... (personally I prefer bring the blue up to give it more more. It looks so much better)

Apparently, we have cocked up our shirts. Again 'apparently' there is a rule in place which you are only allowed 2 gambling companies on your shirt. Well we have SkyBet as the league sponsor so they are on our shirt along with every other football league club. Then we have Football Index as our main shirt sponsor. That 'apparently' is being classed as a gambling company. So that's our 2nd allowed gambling company. So where do our other sponsor MiniBet fit in? 'Apparently' their name had to covered up on our kit at Peterborough. May explain why our home kit is still not ready for purchase. Also may explain our financial situation as we may have to refund MiniBet.

The Administration and Management of the football club at present just seems to be so disappointing and comes across from someone looking in as being very unprofessional.
