Match Day Thread Pre-Season Friendlies

I'm no physio but tightness of the calf doesn't sound like a problem. Take him off in a friendly sure but nothing remotely serious.

 

Evidently lightning struck the Stadium as the teams came out for the second half, after a few minutes the game was abandoned on safety concerns, the whole of the NE has experienced heavy thunder and lightning, the Air Show in Sunderland started but was abandoned with the firework display competing spectacularly with the thunder storm which in the end eclipsed the show, its still rolling but heading northwards. .

I’m playing on redcar tonight. The rain was torrential for around 20 minutes! Massive amount of it and for a long time

 

It was pretty hardcore here, I went in Tesco thinking about salad and white wine and sitting on the patio and exited to the end of the world by flooding.

 

I had £30 on us to beat them after half an hour. We were the better team and looked quite good.

 

Massive respect to us from what ive heard tonight. Their lineup was as strong as they can produce and we more than matched a Championship Promotion favourite. Buzzing and very confident now going into next season.

 

Out of interest St Mirren just won 6-0 in the Scottish League Cup. It was against a side that is now 2 divisions below them but it doesn't give the impression that they are clueless now that Jack Ross has left. I'm even more optimistic for next week and the start of the new season.

Can you imagine winning three games in a row I know it’s hard but try I wonder what that could be like no sorry still can’t do it.
