Ipswich haven't changed. But punting hopeful balls forward and long throw-ins was enough to make us look very very shaky. It was an awful game totally devoid of class except for Leitner's strike. The best either of these sides can hope for this season looks like survival.

I'm shocked that Thompson was allowed to stay on.

Pitiful game, really. Made worse by the music and a stuttering stream at the end.

We just don't seem to create chances, plenty of the ball without any real shots/opportunity at goal, even at set pieces we seem poor, cant see any improvement in our play but do think we have signed some good players they just don't seem to be playing with freedom

Fair result defined by the two goals and not much else. Would have been horrible to lose, so I'll take a draw.

I said earlier that it was a game neither side could lose. #soitcametopass

A draw between two poor sides, both likely destined to struggle - no real surprise there, we´ve been saying so for a while now. A defeat at home to ´Boro ( we won´t get much more) and we´ll be back sniffing around the relegation zone again.

Today’s get out of gaol result doesn’t disguise the fact that we are piss poor at the moment.
Our fall from Premier League grace in such a short space of time is quite frankly shocking.
We came up against an Ipswich side today which is the worst they have had in living memory, well in my opinion anyway.
We desperately need to ditch this ‘self funding club’ bollocks and be seen to actively seek major inward investment, the modern game dictates this. If we do not I really fear for our future and can only see us treading water in the Championship or worse for years.

1-1 as predicted , Farke bringing the kids through..

We played pretty poorly , Aarons was good Hernandez was class and Srebeny looked a handful.
The 10 year unbeated run is still on.

Farke has had long enough to get this team winning some games. We don’t expect to win all of them, but that’s 4 wins in what, 22 matches in the league? I agree with KIO, can’t see NCFC being anything but a mid/lower placed team for years to come. There appears to be some talent in this team but the results prove that it’s wasted.

Afternoon gents. Disappointing all round at the moment.

Why do you think Farke is being given so much time?

I think that’s about the 4th/5th game on the trot that the score has been 1 - 1?

Farke is being given so much time as we can’t afford to pay him off.

The thing has always been that a year or two in the Prem would solve all our financial woes at Town. I remember Delia talking about the debt being wiped a few years ago, something has gone badly wrong if this is the situation now.

Nice afternoon topped off with half half a dozen pints at the Marina after.

It was difficult not to celebrate the equaliser in the bin section and Leitner was awful other than the goal.

Thompson clearly had something snap and should have been taken off.
