Why is it? Ehab's a horrible, horrible person and people massively underestimate the full extent of it. He really doesn't need or deserve your protection.
Not often do I agree with Chazz but I do here. Whatever you think of Ehab or any person, I think it is a disgusting thing to discuss the reason behind someone's potential suicide and link it to our owner. There are families on the deceased persons side and Ehabs and neither deserve to accidentally stumble upon this discussion. Sometimes we let our dislike of our owners get in the way of actual human decency. Let's be the bigger and better people.
I am defending/accusing no-one in this post. Just making a general observation. To be honest, I think there are too many posters on this forum whose judgement is far too trigger-happy. Words/sentences/statements on social media are far too often misinterpreted, followed be knee-jerk responses. As I've said before (I forget the particular subject thread/context), it is far better to ask a poster (preferably by a pm), before castigating or even supporting (by "likes") the comments they have made. That gives the original poster a chance to explain/modify or even retract their statements that they (poster & respondant) deem may be misconstrued. Despite some "bravado/points" seeking, sometimes highly provocative posters on this forum, in the main I believe most are decent human beings without malice or "extreme" viewpoints. There are a few daft buggers - I classify myself that way. However there is naturally a fair bit of justified "antagonism" towards the leaders of our football club, and with emotions at a high level of discontent, statements may be made (mostly from the hip) that can be misconstrued with consequently responses that may well propogate more antagonism/misinterpretation. As City1904 suggests above- we can be better than that.
Not sure whether this has been posted already, but Bolton seem to be in a bit of a mess again. https://www.bwfc.co.uk/news/2018/september/a-note-from-the-chairman4/
Would be the ultimate irony if we end up staying up because other teams were so badly run they had a points deduction. The smugness radiating from Enob would be unbearable.
Points deductions, fines and warning - FFP expert's verdict on Birmingham City But finance guru says current player costs are unsustainable https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sp...s/birmingham-city-points-embargo-efl-15126035
Barnsley (22nd) and Burton (23rd) were relegated with 41 points last season. 6th place Derby had 75 points & made the playoffs. After 6 games so far, Bolton have 11 points = 1.833 pts/game. City have 4/6 = 0.666 pts/game. Extrapolated over 46 games at the same rate (rounded): Bolton final points : 84 pts (after 12 points deduction 72 pts)...SAFETY City final points: 31 pts.....RELEGATION
The point is, will they have more than City after a points deduction that may put us in a relegation slot at the end of the season. I'll see you & raise you a kit-kat.
