    Good Morning Everyone

Berardi has picked up a knee injury in training and is a doubt for Saturdays clash against Millwall.

Jansson is available after International Duty though must be seething having lost at home against Turkey having been 2-0 up.

Leeds continue to wait for a full diagnosis of Patrick Bamford's knee injury. We should hear today!

The U18s stormed to a 5-1 win over Watford on Saturday, with goals from Huggins, Kumwenda (2), and Kenneh (2).

Northern Irelan Manager Michael O'Neill has leapt to Peacock-Farrells defence following the critisism aimed at the 21yo by Lee Dixon and Ian Wright.

“Bailey will be disappointed to concede two goals on his debut but I felt he looked assured and confident”, O’Neill told his post match press conference.

    “I was delighted with Bailey.

"I thought he acquitted himself very well. He had no chance with the first goal.

“He looked very assured in everything else that he did”, he added.

Morning all. Beradi would be a loss for the wall game. Just the type of no nonsense player we need there

    Morning all

Big news today is that Bolton are going into administration and will be deducted 12 points, so now looking like Birmingham and Bolton will be 2 of the 3 relegated unless a last gasp deal done at Bolton. Seems a stupid way to run a business but the owner did a deal with a financial organisation to borrow a few million. said Finance house then take their lawyers to court for malpractice but even though Bolton offer to give them £4m back the company refuse and would prefer to see them go into administration which will see them lose their £4m. Unless their hope is that their lawyer ends up recompensing them. But unless they accept the cash from Bolton the football club goes into administration and gets relegated this season. Birmingham have already been sanctioned and will lose 12 points as soon as their appeal is heard, which will be before Xmas for FFFP rules breach

Hoping for good news on Bamford but if he cant make it for Saturday expect to see Tyler Roberts and either Edmondson, Clarke or Dalby on the bench to sub for Roofe

Great piece from Phil Hay in the YEP giving more insight and the view of Forshaw who could be back Saturday

    Morning all...

With the U23s doing so we’ll surely some will be pushing for the first team soon? Berardi would be a loss against Millwall but maybe the height of Cooper and Pontus will do us okay.

Doc don’t forget Izzy will have spent a couple of weeks with us by the time we kick off, I’d expect him to be on the bench too.

Morning all. Against Leeds, ,Millwall will give maximum commitment, this match will not be easy. The difference this year is that we are fitter, commited, and have a coach who knows how to produce a football team. This will be a good test of our progress.

Rumor is 6 months out for Bamford, but I cant see that because he was assessed and told to shower and dress and drive home, whilst the game was still in progress. We have a top medical/physio team now and no way would they tell him to drive home if there was a sniff of something serious? I may be wrong but ....

So Uefa are planning a 3rd European Cup Competition, before we know where we are we will be having breaks from our own league games to facilitate these competitions.
The whole setup stinks of money grabbing.
Next thing we know The no of clubs in the Prem and Championship will be reduced and another division created to accommodate all these extra games. Most of the European games are S///e anyway. IMO

Good Morning to Sheriff Matt and his posse from a sunny but chilly Bardsey
Well Pontus played last night how did he perform because we sure need him against Morrison who is hell bent on inflicting another defeat on us
I think that Doc will be right about Bamford out for a couple of weeks but its an opportunity for Roberts to step up and Edmundson unlike Bruce we recruit within which gives a better team spirit

Peter Crouch has revealed there was a ‘dark period’ at Stoke City in 2013 that saw a series of pranks escalate and threaten the dressing room harmony.

Pranks have long been a part of dressing rooms in every sport and it appears that Stoke, still under Tony Pulis at the time, was no different.

Crouch, whose book ‘How to be a Footballer’ came out last week, explained how Matty Etherington’s jacket being flushed down a toilet ended with Kenwyne Jones bricking Glen Whelan’s house – yes, really.

“There was a dark period at Stoke in 2013 that began innocently enough with Matty Etherington getting his new leather jacket flushed down the toilet,” Crouch explained in his book.

“It quickly got out of hand. Etherington decided to take his revenge by taking a load of mouldy fish-bits and putting them in Jon Walter’s shoes and car, who he suspected of the jacket theft.

“Walters escalated it by getting a severed pig’s head from a local’s butchers – still covered in blood – wrapping it in Matty’s jeans and putting it in his locker.

“Matty found it and put it in Glenn Whelan’s locker, except rather than Glenn Whelan’s he accidentally put it in Kenwyne Jones’s.

“Before you know it, Kenwyne has lost the plot and is putting a brick through Glenn’s car window, and Glenn is threatening to go round Kenwyne’s house.”

UEFA are planning on introducing another Euro league comp by 2021, this will further disrupt our leagues and either extend them, or cram'em full of games with Saturday and more midweek games; not to mention probably more international breaks. This may well put teams under more stress and pressure when competing in Cup comps or competing for promotion towards end of season.

What are UEFA up to, they know their present comps disrupt the leagues around Europe already.

Roofe alone is not enough why was he playing in the U23s it does not make sense.we will see nothing of him from now on.i was pushing for a big mean forward all pre season and even with bamford i still was.
This squad is too small to cope without the quality i have been hoping we sign.
I just hopy izzy fityet and Saiz start to turn it on.
The young guys have a chance now to reach for the stars a place is up for grabs.
