A well deserved point even Kenny Jackett said so on Solent Radio & he also said it was a penalty. To come away with a point from there, was excellent. The back four had'nt played together before, every player played at the top of their game. Praise must be given to Charles & Morris for their performances. We managed to keep the left wing quiet, anybody who watches South Today, will know that the right is just as dangerous with Jamal Lowe. How the ref managed to book four of Wycombe in the first half & three of Pompey in the second smacks of even the score up. McCarthy was a booking, the other three NO, & Kashket was only booked when their No 26 complained to the ref I hope he is proud of himself. Could we have won it possibly, Allsop I am afraid is no Blackman or Ingram. You could see the Wycombe players heads drop a little bit when Pompey scored the second, then shook themselves out of it & won the penalty.

 

Just looked at the other results & everybody lost below us, a good point.

 

Round of applause for you lot then. In the end a good point but it must have been a little bitter sweet it might have been 3. Just shows how unpredictable this league is doesn't it. You know I don't subscribe to this big team little team thing and the results keep proving it right each week. There are no big teams just other teams as in any league. You get what you earn.

After playing as well as they did yesterday it should give the team the confidence for Southend
