Good Morning Everyone Popey has revealed that Companies House documents show that the "old" (LUFC parent company owned by Bates) will finally be liquidated in about 6 months with circa £11.5m of creditors left unpaid. I guess Bates had taken out a voluntary agreement with the creditor (PVA) to pay back a percentage of money owed, and after a set time (in this case 10 years), the debt is written off! please log in to view this image Izzy Brown cannot wait to get started for Leeds. “After watching the lads during the matches I just want to get out onto the pitch and play but I know I’ve got to wait for my time and hopefully do everything right, get stronger everyday and be back before anyone knows it.” I'd expect to see him play at least for the u23's in October, whilst he regains his fitness! Aapo Halme may have endured a difficult start to his Leeds career, suffering a serious foot injury shortly after being signed in January, but the Finnish U21 International is certainly making up for lost time now. He received glowing reports from fans after their recent defeat at Bolton. The 6-5 central defender would certainly come in handy later this season.
Morning all Aapo Halme has been my tip for the top for 12 months now, although his injury set him back a long time. I expect him in the first team either in January or deffo next season. I contacted Mike Thornton yesterday regarding the £11.5m write off
Morning Elland, this may be of interest to you all, seventeen years ago my wife's best friend and her partner emigrated to Australia(Melbourne) and the hardest part was being unable to watch Leeds play at all, no sooner had they settled down they knocked out three kids (all boys) in the space of a few years. Anyway last week they came back for their first visit since leaving and to take the boys to their first Leeds game against Birmingham, they are staying at ours this weekend and I found out last night their oldest boy who's 15 has a trail with Leeds either today or tomorrow so i'll keep you posted as to how he gets on.
Morning all....early start today, Mrs10 back at cataract clinic for a post op check up, I'll be glad when she gets the all clear to start driving again, this chauffeuring lark is doing my head in...
I really feel for all the businesses that lost out to the Bates failures, something he has a record for over the years, how he gets fit personed is beyond me, from the days he took the people of Ireland for millions , he is nothing but a crook and shyster. Nice to read that Brown is chomping at the bit, ready to go, sooner the better. I think Halme is one the powers that be had high hopes for, can see him on the bench sooner rather than later.
I'm only prepared to put in the general rubbish bin. I'm not putting him in recycling just in case he comes back.
Afternoon all. Newspaper report today saying James Milner wants to come back to Leeds next season if we are promoted this.
There are only 2 I would have back and both Leeds through and through and both have unfinished business. Milner and Delph Yorkshire Tea should make this happen
good afternoon from a very damp Fort William .Well its not been our lucky holiday so far The B and B I booked for today was in such a secluded place that we had to enter a narrow tunnel wit 2 raging streams at the side Moe had a freak out she not only fears water but suffers from claustrophobia as well and refused to go near the place I had to take her too the nearest hotel for some brandy to stop her palpitations! She was terrified I rang the guest house up and cancelled the booking I would imagine with all the rain we are having the tunnel will be flooded Any way we have found a lovely hotel on the steps of Neptune called the Moorings and the staff could see how badly she was shook up that they let us have the booking 40 % off and Booking dot com have refunded my money on the other booking so alls well that ends well
Reminds me when they buried Maxwell in Israel I\ beleve the family still owes for his burial! both out of the same pod!
