Lets keep it a match day thread, there's enough on the other stuff on the board ta

    Stats n Facts
Jimmy Savile was born in Leeds.
John Poulson bent building magnate too.
Leeds United was formed from the ashes of cheating Leeds City.
Gary Sprake never gets invites to Revie reunions.
Woodgate and Bowyer did not get convicted of GBH...
Evans was found guilty of "cheating the public purse" for 5 years.
With his love of all things Italian I can see why Bummers chooses to live there (Come back Bummers, 5k doesn’t last that long!)

    Now lets beat them.

Been a resurgence of late. Plenty of options for Nige. Grosicki will be scoring tomorrow night.
Back three the same as finished on Sat. Bowen Grosicki, Kane Irvine & probably Markus in midfield. I'd like to keep Martin & Campbell together up top.

    Marshall

    Lichaj Boon Burke

    Bowen Kane Markus Irvine Grosicki

    Martin Campbell

Going to need a few battlers in there but we haven’t got many so that’ll have to do.

    No Prisoners. We'll win 3-1
    Come on City.

Couldn't go Saturday but slightly encouraged by reports of a better performance , so turning up tomorrow with cautious optimism fully expecting it to be kicked out of me by half time.

Tomorrow will be a totally different proposition to last Saturday. It helps a little that they have 4 out, but even so, with their style of play (compared to Boro's) and with those they do still have available, and can see them running us ragged.
Bad feeling about this one after the positives of Saturday's improvement.
    1-4. Please, no.

    Evening all...

We’ve been playing some good football, I fancy our chances every match we play at the moment and it’s been a dozen or so years since I’ve had that kind of confidence.

I was surprised when I looked at how low Hull are in the table but in this division anyone can beat anyone so I’m taking nothing for granted. Obviously want the three points, hoping Roofe returns, should be a good game.

I’ve lost track on injuries to be honest

Leeds aren’t my least favourite team, but still a horrible bunch

Need to keep the spirit the same as Saturday

Irvine could be important. Bowen needs a good game too.

Martin / Campbell or both? I’d like to start them together, but I’m pretty sure Nige won’t

    We’ll lose 0-2

With the owners we have it shouldn't be a surprise.

Thought the same and so ignored the rest of the post.
If they’re that ill informed there was no point in responding

Amongst other statements it's probably worth noting that Gary Sprake has been dead for nearly two years, just saying :emoticon-0148-yes:

That ill informed? I’d call it not informed as I don’t have any interest in what is going on behind the scenes at Hull.

For a team that was in the PL not that long ago and I’d assume still receiving parachute payments I was surprised at how poor you’re doing. Been scanning a few posts in the last few hours and see the blame is being put on the owners, fair enough, been there done that with Bates and GFH.

From those throwing sickly amounts of money at it to those creaming the funds, the game is slowly being killed.

As for the game if we play as well as we did v Stoke, Derby, Norwich, Preston & Sheff Wed.....Hull will have to be on top form to contain our full-on attacking game

It's a bit odd you don't really know teams are doing in the same league as the team you support?

Totally different game to the Boro match i think it will be much more open, What I have seen of Leeds on the tv they have been playing well, they should have won at Sheffield Wednesday but missed a number of chances, they have threats all over the pitch and a decent at set pieces. Overall we haven't looked good but better against Boro on Saturday. We haven't missed that many chances because we haven't created many. Anyway after that summing up and because its Leeds i think we will win 5.0, Enjoy if you are going and like the players have to, make sure you put in that extra effort. UTT and remember if all goes wrong ONE DAY WE WILL GET NEW OWNERS

1964, the year Leeds got promoted to the First Division. Was that the year you got interested? Did you decide to start supporting them instead of your local team? Are you one of those people who would be more accurately described if you pressed the key under the W, Hull Whites?
