As mentioned earlier in the thread, I was toying between Sporting Chance and Hello Youmzain (My fancy for the 2YO Trophy at Redcar) in the 2.50 at Maison Laffitte. I went with Hello Youmzain at 6/1, purely as he was double the odds of Sporting Chance. Very unexposed Hello Youmzain needs to come forward but he looks a promising sort and it's interesting that the trainer decided to go for the Group 2, rather than chase a big pot at Redcar. 2.50 Maisons Laffitte Hello Youmzain 6/1 I missed the early 7/1 and money has been creeping on the Ryan trained horse. 9/2 seems top price now.
hi fellas! exciting weekend ahead of us,especially on the jumps front,so here are my first two chancers: hexham,1 40: ARTHUR MAC won well enough on debut, although that form looks nothing out of the ordinary, but he was thought good enough to run in a top bumper at aintree on his second start, and although outclassed that day, should make his mark over hurdles in this class.so,if he takes to the track(which isnt always easy here..),has a big shout! chepstow,1 55: as i have statd already more than once here,i am a bit careful with penalised horses in novices/bumpers,but DEYRANN DE CARJAC could be a vital exception today,as he demolished a good field on his last start, and should go very well again today..
Lucky b*****! The weather here is truly bizarre. Outrageously warm but very blustery and the constant threat of rain. Certainly not al fresco imbibing weather.
hexham,2 15: i think, this can go to CREADAN GRAE.is 6 lbr higher than when winning at perth last time out,but had a good bit more in hand that day,so can still be competitive off this mark..
Pym showed a decent attitude there. Mrs Pugh has some record with her horses - 18 wins in 30 visits to the track. Would be a whole lot better if she hadn't been persuaded to buy the dud Silverhow. Well a dud by comparison to the other 2.
chepstow,2 30: BENNYS BRIDGE was by no means disgraced on his last start,in a valuable bumper at newbury, where he was third,so the ability is there.good chance..
chepstow,3 05: my first thought here was emprente reconce, who beat a now 119 rated rival last time out,and has to be respected, but MIDNIGHTREFERENDUM gets a narrow vote,as she ran as well,as could be expected on her last start in second,to a well-touted horse, and should d nt be too far away today, for a top yard..
Its a long time since I've see a horse come up the last furlong of the Rowley Mile like that. He might get away with it in the 2000 GNS but surely a Derby horse?
Like Goachers not to bad and then Shepard and screame (Neame ) god awful stuff, Maidstone brewery make an ale where the water is used from the medway - tastes like it also. I also reside in the garden
All or nothing here with MasterTT. Already several trebles and 1acca depending on him. Just seen he has drifted massively to 5/1
well, another tough saturday,betting-wise.. chepstow,3 35: some exciting prospects on show here, and that comment definitely applies to the tough as teak POETIC RHYTHM,who is also one of my favourite jumpers.so,if he takes to fences today, will run a big race. newmarket,3 40: CESAREWITCH a fiendishly difficult handicap,as always.CLEONTE,though,is my choice here,as he beat stars over the sea last time out,and that rival franked the form in big style next time out..also only 3 lbr higher for that,so with some luck,he ll be involved..
4 in the big one for me all ew: Vis A Via 10/1 Limini 14/1 Blue Rambler 50/1 Eye Of The Storm 80/1 Very small stakes combi fc/tc
