They are likely to sign a pre-sale agreement, then the potential buyers' legal team will carry out due diligence but after the final act of sale I'm not sure if the EU's cooling off period of 14 days applies to sale of a company?
Don't believe it applies to b2b transactions unless explicitly stated in contract. Can you imagine, after a couple of (losing) games, 'team doesn't work, I want a replacement'.
It is for me. I was just thinking what excuse I could use to not go but you’ve just done it for me, nice one
Does anybody else feel it's going to be hard to get a ticket for the first home game after the sale. Lots of people have said they want to welcome new owners and stick 2 fingers up to the Allams
I've been saying that for ages, Marv. All this waiting and then when the glorious day comes, sold out sorry... If that happens, I'll still stand outside the ground taking in the atmosphere.
Lots may have said that, I expect thousand of empty seats. That though, as the undertaker said when the pallbearers dropped the coffin and the lid came off, "remains to be seen." The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
It's around about now when it all goes tits up !!!! Hull City: Owners Allam family say goodbye to stadium staff as takeover nears
"The Allam family have overseen Hull's most successful period since taking over, with Premier League football and the team's only FA Cup final appearance." GTF BBC They have no inkling of how to 'oversee' success. They got lucky thanks to the recruitment decisions of others and the expertise of the people who were recruited, all the Allams did was loan money to Hull City at a hefty interest rate.. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/46052369
