Whilst the Premier League is drowning in money it frankly doesn't deserve the FA go after those who struggle to make ends meet, this is their latest edition of throwing their weight about...

If you go to his twitter account there are actually some corrections and updates, including a statement from the FA. So, it's not actually as it seems but... who cares how big a changing room is? I don't get how that affects the game?

    Unbelievably pedantic.........

Obviously got too much time on their hands, maybe they should get the Premier League clubs to pay for the upgrades......

Large changing rooms essential to accommodate some f***ing great egos. Hopefully not a problem with our good bunch of lads.

For some clubs playing in very old grounds this could prove costly to make the necessary alterations, especially considering that they would need 2 dressing rooms for match officials to allow for female ones. Next, they will be dictating what colour they should be as for example Norwich have painted the away room pink which is suppose to dampen the urge of their opponents.

It was actually agreed in 2014 in conjunction with the leagues, giving the clubs five years to comply. If the clubs also read the rules of the league they play in, they would have known that non-compliance would result in relegation.

Whether 18 square metres is a bit on the large side, I don't know. However 12 square metres for 16 players, officiials, showers etc. is a bit on the tight side!

Compared to the regulations that have to be met regarding how many seats, the number of spectators that are under cover, the number of media seats available etc., this is one of the more reasonable criteria!

Personally, I think the ground grading standards are far higher than is required & far too expensive to achieve. However, many clubs pay out far more than these amounts in wages & then complain when their ground fails the grading.

This is affecting my home town team who now need to raise £15k to make the adjustments. I'm pretty sure they'll get the fundraising bit sorted but it's the timescales then with 4 teams using the ground. Also it scuppers planned development to the ground.
