... with a Prem title, of course.. only 6 have done it ... but you enjoy being with Wanderers and The Royal Engineers .... they are as relevant as yours to today's game and we should never forget
I'd have said similar but the title win has probably put them ahead now. What happened to you lot today? Can't let those skate ****s win the league ffs.
Yes on both accounts in the examples you gave. Our 'Suarez season' was one were all but arsenal and us had a new manager btw. Leicester were brilliant but in any other season, they don't win it.
He was underrated, There was a reason why Real Madrid and Barcelona tried to sign him, He went to the former obviously, He doesn’t get the credit that he deserved to be honest.
I feel it is rather the opposite,David Beckham's footballing ability is undermined because of how big a star he is.He was worldclass for almost a decade, meaning he was one of the best performers of his generation. He captained England,he finished in the Ballon Dor top 3 before it became the mess it is right now(when it was being voted by the leading sports journalist of each country) and besides his manchester united honours, often used to lead the assist tally for real madrid and was the most pivotal player of the galacticos in their last title win. He definitely isnt regarded as a player who was worldclass for a decade because he became such a huge star off the pitch.
Really? Have a look at the government front bench, plus ****s like Sir Philip Green, the bankers who ****ed the economy and are now giving themselves colossal bonuses again, throw in the tax dodging spiv firms treating their workers like slaves, and then tell me again that an overpaid ex-footballer and his missus are the problem.
I guess it depends on how you define "World Class" ... he was a very good footballer in my opinion and one of the finest ever exponents of the dead ball .... but his ability to dominate a game like those midfield players I personally would call truly world class ... well not for me... nowhere close to Zidane, Platini, Cruyff Maradona or Messi Now we all have our different views and opinions ... and that's how it should be ... for me one of the greatest tragedies in English football was Paul Gascoigne's injury - particularly as it was largely self-inflicted ... for me Gazza could have been in that elite and he was so good that he might have won us a major international tournament with his football artistry ... but it's all about opinions
