Fair point. Duncan just wants an argument with me at any opportunity. Don’t get me wrong, I’m delighted with the result and Norwich’s position. But I would bet a lot of money that Farke will be focusing on the fact we let a two-goal lead slip, which was really my point (I know it was obvious).
I don’t think he was picking an argument mate. I agree about the 2 goal lead slip, that was embarrassingly bad. We won again though. That’s all that matters.
We are on one of the best runs as a team for years, I find it difficult to find anything negative to say about anything to do with the club the performances or results. I personally think the unnecessary moaning is unnaceptable. I'm not looking to argue with anyone.
Agree, it wasn't a perfect game for us. If we don't fix mistakes now, we will repeat them until they hurt us. We have a tough run of games coming up soon so best to be ready as can be for those.
2-0 up. 2-2 in 88th Minute. Find a way to win again! This feels special. I am stunned we keep doing this! Incredible!
I agree with you, and I’m certainly not moaning! Just trying to see it through Farke’s eyes, who I get the impression is not a perfectionist but will never rest on his laurels and will look to the positives while not losing sight of the negatives
I agree, I think he is like that. I really hope he is like that. The 2 goals were so sloppy and poor. The goals were so avoidable. Suddenly it's 2-0 to 2-2. The fact we won it late again is incredible. My Bolton fan mate was at the game. He was going mental with the 88th Minute goal. He could not believe we got a late winner yet again. He said we were class. He also picked out Cantwell and said he looked fantastic.
TC is so much fun to watch, always looking to make something happen e.g. his pass today which led to the final goal.
I love Todd. He looks light-weight. But he is so hard to get the ball off! Technically he is amazing. He is so mentally calm. Got a great pass and touch on him. But I am far more impressed with his Footballing brain. He is such a technically intelligent player. When he looks crowded or in trouble, he works his way out of it. Keeps the ball ticking over. Love it!
My first visit to Carrow Road this season. Thoroughly enjoyed the game, even if it could have been more comfortable! In general incredibly impressed with how we played. Most impressed by Stiepermann I think, he had a fantastic game. Heavily involved, scored, and seems to have an uncanny ability to win the ball back up the pitch. Also impressed by Vrancic, Zimmerman, but unfortunately Godfrey didn't take his chance. Obviously difficult circumstances in which to play 90 mins, but I think he got bullied today. I think he won one header in the second half, which thankfully was an important one. Passing was clean and tidy in the most part, but aerially he was nowhere, and his passing was simple rather than helping the team build attacks. Hurry back Klose. Definitely still unconvinced by Krul. 2 or 3 key moments in which I think he could have done better.
Could have had a second assist right at the end too, his pass to put Rhodes clean through was excellent. Amazed the ref blew for full time when the chance was that good.
To me Krul, more than makes up for his arse ups. He's a commited subscriber to our cause and a proper the player
3 academy players and a Bosman free signing keeper plus another Bosman in Zimmers. Mistakes are forgivable and acceptable especially when we win . That back 5 cost zero.
I was out for a few pre Xmas drinks last night, so have only just read the comments posted yesterday evening. You’re absolutely right FML when you say that DF will be furious at conceding the 3 goals and for the 2nd one, it looked to me as though a Bolton player kicked the ball from Krul’s hands and so should’ve been a foul – I was not impressed with the referee/officials in the slightest – nothing new there!!!! Krul is a concern in that he needs to improve his catching skills; as opposed to parrying the ball and perhaps he could ask Santa for some new gloves. The trouble is that he has no real competition. The talk in the pub was that if we do achieve the ‘P’ word, we could put in a bid for Angus and I like the look of Lewis at Aberdeen. #hesoneofourown Edit - I thought Godfrey played quite well actually, but we all have our opinions.
Dan O'Hagan@danohagan Most loveable #NCFC team in years. The fight, character and desire is absolute next level. And let’s be frank, nobody outside of Colney saw this coming, which makes the season even more special.
You gotta LOVE that man and good report from the Sunday Fail - https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/f...hampionship-leaders-snatch-victory-death.html
