It was 'phew' time when the final whistle went. I was listening to the radio commentary and was hiding under the cushions for the last quarter of the game.
Well deserved win that puts us comfortably on 29 points at the half way stage. For a new manager and a new team then i say they have exceeded expectations and will finish where they are or higher and they are only 6 points off the playoffs....Not that i care much about that as i still would want another season in the championship before going up to the boring premiership.......Good 3 points....
A win is a win but we are still conceding way too many goals. Basically we have to score at least 3 to win a game.
Stats..... Brentford 2 - 3 Swansea City #FotMob https://www.fotmob.com/livescores/2791566?status=finished
Conspiracy theories, don't you just love them ? They are ever so popular, since no proof is needed to justify their creation. . Clearly, those nasty Americans are at it again. First they sew up their trouser pockets to stop spending any money, and now they are dictating to the Manager who to pick, and when, and why. For this one to have any real credibility, surely they would have insisted that Bony and Narsingh had also played.
I agree with you, Dai. The team are in a better place than many were expecting, hence the decline in abuse towards the owners. That could change, of course.
No decline in the abuse towards the new and old owners from me , its seems some are too willing to forgive them selling / buying the Club in the way they did , behind the back of the Trust , you remember the very organisation created to try to prevent such a deal occurring .I support the team not the regime
Based on their performances yesterday they deserve be starting the next game. If they don’t, I think there’s probably some truth in the ‘shop window’ suggestion....the club won’t want them getting injured just before the boot sale
" No decline in the abuse ". It's always sad when bitterness envelops any person. I suspect that the Owners don't give a damn either way. The only person who is affected by your " abuse " is YOU. Negatively so. That you " support the team " whilst abusing the Owners doesn't do the team any good, so why bother ? Far better to put your energy, positively, into supporting the team. Get rid of the helmet, and go get a life that is free from angst. Just a suggestion, which I know will be ignored.
I think he read my post .... Earlier in the season before James earned his place, they still weren’t being selected - Asoro and Dhanda were seemingly ahead of Routs and Dyer
Why? Do you remember when you were on here, gobbing off about all the investment the Americans were going to bring to the Club? Do you remember that David? We're all still waiting...or was it hearsay (aka bullshit) on your part?
